Stroud Yoga Space & Shop Yoga & Pilates studio in the heart of Stroud. Home to one of the UK's first independent yoga shops.

We have two beautiful fully equipped studios, with heated bamboo floors, clean clear space with natural light and good varied lighting. Over 50 classes running per week covering all types of yoga and pilates. All our teachers work independently so to book a class the teacher should be contacted directly. Introducing our new teacher Sherin…

Sherin has spent over two decades deepening and integrating her own spiritual practice, and exploring what it means to be alive in this body.

She has been practising yoga since 2002 and teaching yoga since 2012.

She has completed vinyasa yoga teacher training with Sun Power Yoga in London, yin yoga teacher training at Ashiyana in India, and ta**ra yoga teacher training at Durga’s Tiger School for Ta**ra Yoga in Ecuador.

Despite teaching for over 13 years, she does not really consider herself to be a ‘yoga teacher’.

She feels that yoga lineages are too uncomfortably associated with male gurus and the patriarchy, and strict rules, and pushing bodies into asanas that must look a certain way. She prefers words like embodied, intuitive, flow, somatic, ta***ic, and authentic movement.

She is just a woman facilitating space for people to remember the wisdom, freedom, wildness and power that resides within their very own bodies.

She doesn’t believe there is a ‘right way’ of moving.

If you have integrity within your own body, it is impossible to do anything wrong. She will simply guide people to turn every cell of their body into an ear and listen…
