Grief, Bereavement, Loss, and Shock affect each of us in deeply personal ways, often bringing with them a complex array of emotions. The process of grieving can feel tangled and disorienting—emotions like anger, denial, despair, and confusion can surge unexpectedly, like crashing waves, gripping us with an intensity that feels impossible to measure.
In my work as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I have walked alongside many clients on this long and winding journey. Sometimes, the most powerful support I offer is simply to hold space—emotionally, safely, and without judgment. To provide a place where vulnerability is welcomed, where each emotion can be met, acknowledged, and gently explored for as long as it takes to begin growing around the grief.
The course below is designed as a CPD (Continuing Professional Development) training for therapists. However, the insights and tools it offers can benefit anyone navigating the emotional terrain of grief, bereavement, loss, and shock.
