It’s holiday season 🏖️✈️
Soon it will be my turn to jet off, so the clinic will be closed for the last 2 weeks of August. There’s only 2 sessions left to book on Monday evening next week before sessions recommence on Fri 5th September.

I love this time of year 😊Every other client is running a marathon and I get so excited talking to them about their personal plans, like breakfast on the day, nutrition during the race, kit, start line jitters, even toilet planning! It brings flashbacks and some worries, but I also secretly enjoy the knowledge that, especially for first timers, they are going to have the best memorable day ever! 😎🫶🏼🍻

I’m sharing this from Mike James, The Endurance Physio, because we all have dreams of how we want to perform, but the reality is that the end game relies 99% on that huge part of the iceberg below the surface that no-one sees. Great post Mike 👌

Rehab and performance success is simple in theory yet for many, difficult in reality.

Most of the time we trip ourselves up falling for the sexy shiny stuff that makes the smallest difference instead of focussing on embracing the monotony of stuff that works.

Looking for inspiration from the elites is natural, but all that glitters isn’t gold.

Family gym session with my girls 🙂

I’m insisting on embarrassing them at the gym for a short time by giving them some instruction on weight, form and volume.

I want them to get the most out of their exercise program, enjoy it and more importantly, lift safely.
