During our recent night shift at Northfield House, we experienced a truly heartwarming moment that highlighted the deep connections we share with our residents. One of our cherished residents, Mo, expressed a heartfelt desire to hear a particular song, and we couldn’t resist honoring that request! 💖🎶

It was a beautiful experience to come together in song, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere. Moments like these remind us of the power of music to unite us and bring smiles to our faces. We’re grateful to share this special memory with all of you!

🌞Time Out on the Decking!🌞

A glorious day when our residents and staff took a well-deserved break on the decking, soaking up the glorious sunshine! With laughter in the air and smiles all around, it was the perfect opportunity to unwind and connect with one another.

The vibrant atmosphere was filled with engaging conversations, and the simple joy of being outdoors. It’s moments like these that remind us of the importance of community and the beauty of spending time together. Here’s to more sunny days and cherished memories on our decking! ☀️💛

Delicious Smoothie Fun at Northfield House! 🍓🍌🥭🍍

Our residents had a fantastic time getting creative as they made their very own cool fruit smoothies! With a vibrant selection of delicious fresh fruit on hand, everyone had the opportunity to mix and match their favorite flavors.

From juicy strawberries and bananas to superfood blueberries, the residents enjoyed experimenting with different combinations. The excitement was palpable as they blended their ingredients into refreshing, nutritious treats.

Not only did they enjoy the process, but the smiles on their faces as they tasted their creations were priceless! It was a delightful way to promote healthy eating while having fun together. We can’t wait for our next smoothie-making session!

Northfield House is a dedicated dementia home. If your elderly loved one has dementia you’ll know they need a very special kind of care.
