The five star dining club tantalising our sweet tooth with this fine dining demonstration of desserts

On the menu today

baked apple and blackcurrant roses French classic patisserie with pomegranate jewels

A millionaire deconstructed cheesecake cocktail finished with pashionfruit margarita compote and an ammeretto bischoff base

And by far the most popular dish deepfried Thai ice cream dumpling finished with powdered sugar and maple glaze

We look forward to it's return in a few weeks time where we will be visiting

Today our resident artists donated their thank you piece to the Last Chance Saloon an American dive bar and restaurant in Bromsgrove.

The residents decided to paint this piece as a thank you to owner Lee who kindly hosted us for a private party on the 4th of July.

It now sits on full display inside the bar meaning our residents are officially accomplished artists.

With their work on show to the patrons and the general public.

We are very proud of all of our residents that helped create this wonderful piece of art

And furthermore we really do embrace the spirit of connecting with our communities both local and neighbouring

It was happy hour here at studley rose this afternoon as we hosted one of our mixology 101 sessions, crafting ,learning and enjoying a whole host of world famous cocktails.

Lots of residents joined us on the patio for this fantastic activity session as we enjoyed refreshing drinks, beautiful weather and even better company.

Our Henley residents took part in our sensory sports day ,courtesy of lisa at Bespoke Senior Support another fantastic specialist activity delivered to our lovely residents on Henley suite.

Remember these sessions are weekly and are all specifically curated to focus on sensory stimulation and cognitive performance but most importantly fun.

Heres a sneak peak at A bit if a special mural this month.

The resident members of our art studio decided to show their appreciation for the Last Chance Saloon for hosting us last week.

And so working together we are creating this beautiful bespoke piece to present to them as a little thank you gift.

Although it's not quite finished we are thrilled to show you the hard work and amazing results.

And look forward to it being displayed in their bar/ restaurant

Artistic expression is very important here at studley rose, it is hugely beneficial to concentration, cognitive function, as well as our fine motor skills and sense of self esteem.

We have multiple groups offering an artistic outlet wether it be our specialist dementia friendly course with Bespoke Senior Support using house hold items in place of brushes to achieve fantastic results or the in house groups such as the prop shop, monthly mural or the artists studio

Today as part of our memento project.
our lovely American resident sara from Nashville tenessee got to celebrate the 4th of july in style.

Last Chance Saloon were kind enough to open their venue for a private hire to sara and some of our dear residents.
Giving sara a real slice of home and lots of fantastic memories.

We indulged in listeneng to some good ole country music, whilst sipping our drinks in a true dive bar atmosphere, before being treated to some classic american food.

We had a great afternoon with even better company
