SWIMMER OF THE WEEK🐾💙

This week the swimmer of the week is…Hank!🤩 From the moment he arrives, he’s bursting with energy and proudly lets everyone know he’s at hydro and ready for his swim. His enthusiasm is completely infectious and never fails to make us smile!😁

Hank attends hydro not only for fun and fitness, but also to help keep his muscles strong and maintain a great range of motion in his joints as he gets older. He’s also been seeing the wonderful Fiona at Colchester Canine Massage, which has been hugely beneficial. Any areas of tightness we pick up during his hydro sessions are eased by Fiona, helping Hank stay comfortable and moving beautifully. The combination of these therapies really is something special!🌟

Hank absolutely adores his sessions especially choosing his favourite toy broccoli from the toy box every single week 🥦💚. Lately, he’s been working so hard on his turns and figure-of-eight exercises in the pool. He used to be quite the splashy swimmer, but his improvement has been incredible!

Hank, you are an absolute delight and we love seeing you every week. 🧡💙🌟

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK🐾💙

This week the swimmer of the week is…Maximus!🤩 This gentle giant has been attending weekly hydrotherapy sessions to help keep him strong, mobile, and thriving through his senior years, and what fantastic progress he’s made!🌟

Since starting hydrotherapy, Maximus has shown real improvements in the use of his hind limbs and has built up some great muscle 💪.

Being a Newfoundland, you might think his favourite part would be the swimming… but surprisingly, it’s actually the blow dry at the end! 😂 He absolutely loves it.

Maximus is such a sweet soul, he soaks up every moment, especially standing calmly in the water while enjoying a relaxing massage before heading off for his next lap 🐶💙

Maximus, you are an absolute joy to swim with, and we love seeing you each week!🧡

Dogs can’t tell us when they’re hurting, but they do show us in their own ways 🐾❤️‍🩹

From subtle changes in behaviour to obvious signs of discomfort, pain in dogs is often easy to miss if you don’t know what to look for. Education is key and if we can share our knowledge it means dogs will live happier, healthier lives🧡

Meet Nellie 🧡

This lovely girl recently joined the Aqua Paws family for support following surgery on one of her legs. She is beautiful inside and out and has been absolutely acing her sessions with the support of her wonderful mum!

Nellie is an XL Bully and we’re very proud to be able to help her in line with our insurance. She is living proof of just how wonderful this breed truly is ✨

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK🐾💙

This week the swimmer of the week is…Crumble!🤩 Beautiful Crumble has been enjoying her hydrotherapy sessions to support her through her senior years. These sessions are helping to keep her muscles strong and maintain a healthy range of motion in her joints 💙

Crumble truly is the sweetest soul, we often say she’s our centre’s therapy dog because she brings such calm, positive energy every time she visits 🥰

Alongside hydrotherapy, Crumble has also been having clinical massage with the lovely Fiona at Colchester Canine Massage.The combination of these therapies is making such a positive difference, and we couldn’t be happier with how she’s doing! 🥰

She absolutely loves her sessions… in fact, sometimes she’s so relaxed she just floats peacefully in Meg’s or Katie’s arms… never underestimate the power of floating✨

Crumble, you are an absolute diamond and we love you so much! 💖

Our very lovely client Drake celebrated his 13th birthday this week 🎁

He marked the occasion in style with a party and even a mash potato cake, surrounded by his family 💙 He continues to blow our minds with how well he’s doing and we absolutely love seeing him each and every week.

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK🐾💙
This week the swimmer of the week is…Fred!

This gorgeous boy has been part of the Aqua Paws family for some time now and we absolutely love having him. Fred is an older gentleman but he does incredibly well in his sessions and always gives it his all 🧡

He comes to us for strengthening to support his disc degeneration and hydrotherapy has been a great way to help keep him strong and mobile.

Fred gets so excited when he arrives to see us and is always ready to work. He even loves sitting on our laps while we rub his bubbles in and enjoys every minute of the pampering!

Fred really is such a joy to have in the centre and we are so proud of how well he is doing

This is Finley 💙 He recently joined the Aqua Paws family following an injury to his elbow and we’re so pleased to have him with us on his recovery journey.

He took to the pool like he’d done it 100 times before! His parents said how lovely it was to see the 'spark back in his eyes,' which was so special for us to hear ✨ And of course, he couldn’t wait for his post swim snack either!

We’re so happy to be a part of Finley’s recovery and look forward to seeing him each week 🐾
