Winston was beyond excited to kick off the new year with a post Christmas fun and fitness swim! He usually waits so patiently watching his brother during rehab sessions, but was absolutely thrilled to realise it was his turn this time! 🧡 He absolutely loves the water and never wants to leave!

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: Darcy! 💙

The first swimmer of the week for 2026 is… Darcy! This beautiful girl has been coming to us since June last year and has made remarkable progress. Darcy unfortunately fractured her left front paw, but looking at her now, you simply wouldn’t notice, she’s come such a long way!

She puts her all into every session, especially with the help of her essential snack, Babybels! With the support of her lovely mum and regular massage from Fiona at , Darcy truly is a new woman! 🌟

The difference in her muscle tone and fluidity of movement is incredible and we are so proud of her. We can’t wait to see that wiggly bum every week!

Cold weather reminder✨❄️

With very cold weather expected this week, we kindly ask all clients to wrap their dogs up nice and warm after their hydrotherapy sessions. Just like our CEO and Little Apprentice pictured below! Scooby is wearing his drying coat from ruff and tumble and Milo has his onesie fleece! 💙

Wet fur plus cold air can lead to chills, muscle stiffness, and discomfort, which is the opposite of what we want after a therapeutic hydrotherapy session.

✨ What we do:
• We will always dry your dog as thoroughly as possible before they leave.
• Dogs with long or thick coats will be given extra drying time where possible to ensure they are as comfortable as we can make them.

🐶 How you can help:
• Bring warm coats, fleeces, or towels for your dog to wear home.
• Keep them warm in the car and avoid lingering outside after their session.

Thank you for helping us keep your dogs comfortable, safe, and benefiting fully from their hydrotherapy, even in this chilly weather. 💙🐕

✨ What a year 2025 has been for Aqua Paws! ✨

It’s no lie when we say we truly LOVE what we do. Coming to work each day, helping so many wonderful dogs and seeing how happy they are here makes our hearts absolutely burst 🐶💦

We can’t thank you enough for trusting us with your beloved dogs. Supporting our small business , whether you bring your dog to us, recommend us to others, or simply follow and engage with our socials,it all means the world to us!🤍

This job brings mostly highs, but also some very emotional lows. This year we said goodbye to a few very special dogs as the rainbow bridge called them. Each one touched our hearts deeply, and it was truly a privilege to be part of their lives 🌈🐾

Aqua Paws has grown into such a big family this year. We’re now a team of three, and we’re so lucky to have Daniel from Suffolk Animal Chiropractics joining us once a week. We’ve also welcomed so many new faces, getting to know you and your dogs has been an absolute joy!🧡🐾

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK🐾💙
AND OUR FINAL SWIMMER OF THR WEEK FOR 2025 IS….TOUSLE🤩!🥳

Tousle joined us back in July after experiencing age-related hindlimb weakness and lower back pain. Since then, she has been attending weekly hydrotherapy sessions on the underwater treadmill, and her progress has been nothing short of fantastic.

With a background as a show dog, Tousle’s mum knew straight away when she wasn’t quite herself and acted quickly to get her the support she needed. Thanks to a combination of hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and medication, Tousle has gained noticeable strength, mobility, and comfort❤️‍🩹!

When we first met Tousle, she was quite reactive to palpation of her lower back. Now, she is far more comfortable, relaxed, and happy to be handled, which speaks volumes about how far she has come.🥰

Tousle loves her sessions and is always very chatty throughout often reminding her mum to hurry up with the treats because she’s done such a brilliant job in her session! 💬🍪

✨ Tousle, you are the reason we love what we do. ✨
Well done, sweetheart, we are so excited to continue this journey with you in 2026 🤩💙🐾🧡

🎄✨ Aqua Paws is now closed for Christmas! ✨🎄
We will be reopening on 2nd January 🎅🏼 we will therefore be slower at getting back to any messages over this time while we spend time with our families, friends and of course our dogs!🐶🥰 Meg and Katie did manage to squeeze in some Xmas drinks with our partners to celebrate what a fantastic year it’s been🥂

Our little Aqua Paws family has grown so much over this year! We have welcomed almost 100 dogs through our doors each week 🐾. We’ve also been lucky to welcome Katie, our full-time hydrotherapist, and more recently Isobel, who works part-time alongside being a physiotherapist. Both girls are absolutely amazing, and I’m so grateful to have them at Aqua Paws🧡.

We feel incredibly lucky to come to work every day and be surrounded by so many beautiful souls 🤍. Thank you so much to all our local vet practices, referral centres and clients for supporting our small business, it truly means the world 🌍

A huge thank you as well for all the lovely cards and gifts. We are honestly overwhelmed by your generosity 💕 We hope you all have a wonderful christmas and a very happy new year! We look forward to seeing you all and meeting lots of new faces in 2026! ✨🎄🧡💙

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK🐾💙
This week the swimmer of the week is…Malcolm!🤩 Malcolm has been attending regular hydrotherapy sessions on the underwater treadmill for some time now following his spinal operation, and we are so proud of the progress he has made. Malcolm has shown excellent improvements, especially more recently with noticeable gains in his core strength and stability which is amazing to see!💪✨

He absolutely loves his hydrotherapy sessions and we love having him just as much! Malcolm is always motivated, especially when there’s cheese waiting as a reward for his hard work 🧀 and a chance to hunt down his favourite squeaky toys 🧸.

Well done, Malcolm, looking forward to seeing you again soon🥰!

Meet Brie! 🐾

Brie is only a puppy, she has been coming in for weekly confidence sessions to get familiar with the centre and us before starting some fun and fitness swims 🧡

She comes in with her older sister, Pickles and they both love playing with toys and spending time with us to build their confidence. We look forward to spending more time together with these lovely girls! ✨

If you think your dog might benefit from a little extra time and support, we offer free confidence sessions for all dogs 🐾💙 (Dogs do not participate in swimming sessions until a veterinary referral and consent have been received)

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK🐾💙
This week the swimmer of the week is…Obi!🤩 Obi has been attending regular hydrotherapy for the past year to support his recovery following surgery for a ruptured cruciate ligament. His journey hasn’t been without its challenges, and his recovery hasn’t always been smooth, but through every hurdle Obi has shown incredible determination and always gives 100% to everything he does.❤️‍🩹

Since starting hydrotherapy, Obi has made fantastic progress. He is walking much better and has gained muscle mass and strength in his operated leg!🌟

It has also been wonderful to watch Obi’s confidence grow in the water. He happily walks on the treadmill, eagerly waiting for his treats, and has become comfortable stepping off the platform in the pool to swim a lap or two! 💙

Well done, Obi, you are an absolute superstar! ⭐🐶
