Between June and August 2025, 41 people were hospitalised with life-threatening botulism, after receiving illegal Botox injections from untrained individuals using counterfeit products.

🔎 The MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) has launched criminal investigations, warning that these unlicensed treatments are illegal and can lead to devastating consequences.

💬 Before any treatment, ask:
▪️Who’s injecting me?
▪️Are they medically qualified?
▪️Is the clinic CQC-registered?
▪️Are they using licensed, UK-approved products?
