Groups for students 8 - 18years. Students must already be competent swimmers (able to swim 100 meters)

🛟 SUDBURY LIFESAVING CLUB at Kingfisher Leisure Centre 🛟

We have come to the end of term so we are now off for the summer holidays! We finished off with some lifesaving fun & games in the pool. Still learning along the way!

We will be back on Sunday the 7th of September!

Classes are every Sunday during term time
Ages 8 - 18 (split into groups)
Theory 4pm - 5pm (dry)
Practical 5pm - 6pm (pool)
students must be competent swimming able to swim 100 meters

🛟 SUDBURY LIFESAVING CLUB 🛟
Held at Kingfisher Leisure Centre every Sunday evening
Theory (dry) 4pm - 5pm
Practical (swim) 5pm - 6pm

Suitable for students age 8 - 18 years. Students must be able to swim 4 lengths (100 metres)

Students will learn first aid, how to use defibrillators, deal with choking, getting people out of the water and basic first aid once on land. All whilst learning to keep themselves safe too.

Offering free trial sessions - but be quick as it’s almost our summer break! Lessons are term time only.

🛟 Sudbury Lifesaving Club Kingfisher Leisure Centre🛟

During term time at the Kingfisher Leisure Centre we run our lifesaving club which is suitable for children age 8 (must be confident swimmers) to age 18.

Students are split into groups according to age and ability where they then learn a variety of lifesaving skills. First aid, rescues all learned in a safe environment.

Sundays
Theory 4pm - 5pm (optional)
Practical 5pm - 6pm

On Saturday we took part in Sudbury’s Health and Wellbeing event at St Peter’s church

We partnered with Sudbury Defibrillators in order to raise awareness on how to use defibrillators and raise funds to have defibrillators in Sudbury.
We showed both adults and children how to use a defibrillator, proving they anyone can use this equipment that really can save a persons life.

We would like to say a big thank you to our students who came along to support and demonstrate to the public. We cannot do these things without you!

Sudbury lifesaving club trains every Sunday afternoon 4pm - 5pm (theory where we teach how to use defibrillators among other first aid skills)
5pm - 6pm (poolside)

Our sessions are held weekly during term time. Currently we are offering a free trial to new members. If this is something you are interested in please send us a message quoting “FACEBOOK FREE TRIAL” and we will get you booked in!

Lessons are suitable for children 8yrs - 18years. Students must be able to swim. They will be divided into groups according to age and ability. Learning valuable life skills to keep themselves safe in the water, how to help others and apply basic first aid.
