The perfect time doesn’t exist!

We’ve heard it all before:

➡️ “I’ll start when work calms down.”
➡️ “I just need to get in better shape first.”
➡️ “Next Monday. No, wait, next month.”

Spoiler alert: Life will always be busy. There will never be a perfect time. And waiting until you feel “ready” usually just means more time stuck in the same cycle.

The good news? You don’t need the perfect time; you just need a plan that fits into your real life. That’s where we come in. No waiting. No overthinking. Just real, sustainable progress.

🏔️ Final Stage of the Sea to Summit UltraMarathon Charity Challenge – This Weekend! 🏃‍♂️

Hey everyone, I’m David, one of the coaches here at E3 Fitness, and this weekend I’ll be taking on the final part of my Sea to Summit Ultra Marathon Challenge – the third and final ultra of the series.

The concept is simple… but brutal.

Each event starts at sea level, then I run to the summit of one of the UK’s highest mountains - and back down again. That’s 30+ miles of running and thousands of metres of elevation in every single event.

I’ve not entered into this coming from a running background, In fact I started this year struggling to run 3km and nursing an injury.

In recent weeks, I’ve completed:
🏔️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Scafell Pike (England) – 33.5 miles / 53.6 km with over 2,000 m of ascent across steep rocky climbs, waterfall scrambles, and slippery gravel descents.

🏔️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Snowdon (Wales) – 29 miles / 46.6 km and 1,700 m of ascent on race day before 50mph winds forced us to turn back mid-way up the mountain. I went back the next morning to finish what I started, adding another 12.5 miles (20.12 km) and 1,100 m of ascent to reach the summit.

Now, it’s time for the final chapter: Ben Nevis, Scotland – the highest mountain in the UK. The big guy! 🏔️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

With battered feet, blistered toes, tired legs, and everything that’s come before, this one’s going to be tough! There’s a lot of miles and a lot of ascent still to cover, but I’m determined to see it through to the end.

This whole challenge is in support of Children with Cancer UK, an incredible charity funding vital research and supporting families through unimaginably tough times.

So far, I’ve raised £1,350. I’ve been humbled by the support and it would mean the world to hit £1,500 by the final finish line. Every single donation makes a real difference. 🙏

💥From Pain To Power!💥

We want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible journey of an inspiring mum and son duo, Emma and Ryan, who have been training with us consistently for the past 8 months.

From day one, both have shown huge commitment - turning up every week and giving 110% in every session.

Emma started her journey unable to lift a 4kg slam ball. She couldn’t even bend down to pick it up.

Fast forward to today, she just smashed out 24 powerful ball slams in 60 seconds! 💥

Even more amazing, she’s now moving completely pain-free and can lift heavy boxes at work with no knee pain. These are the progress markers that truly matter, and it’s been incredible to witness her transformation.

Ryan has made phenomenal progress since starting. Taking that first step took real courage, and we’re honoured that E3 Fitness felt like the right place for him.

Mobility Progress That Matters 💪

This gentleman has made some outstanding progress with his hip mobility – and while it might not look dramatic in a photo, the impact on how he feels and moves is huge.

In this specific movement (hip adduction) the machine uses increasing levels of range, starting at 1 and going up from there.

When we started, he was working around position 3.

Now, he’s moving comfortably through position 5, and is even close to position 6.

This progress hasn’t come from just stretching. It’s the result of consistent, targeted strength training around the hips.

The benefits?
✅ A noticeable increase in active range of motion
✅ Improved strength and control through that range
✅ No more niggles in the hips
✅ Feeling more mobile, stronger, and pain-free for the first time in years

Is Your Personal Training Truly Personal?

No cookie-cutter programs. No one-size-fits-all pre-determined choreography.

So many PT sessions sound like:
➡️ “This move must look like *this*”
➡️ “Pull this handle from point A to B”
➡️ “You must squat *this* way”

But where’s the consideration for YOU as an individual? Your body is unique! One of a kind. And a proper training session should take into account your specific build, abilities, and goals.

Does full range of motion look the same for a 20-year-old powerlifter as it does for an 80-year-old wanting to stand up pain-free? Absolutely not! What if someone has longer legs? Or a small torso? Or some osteoarthritis in their knee? All of this will affect how someone moves. We’re not all built the same so why should our exercises look the same?…

Exercise is a spectrum, and your personal training should be just that — personal, specific, and most importantly, appropriate for YOU.
