POV: I’m not your doula if you want to avoid the emotional work.
Because your emotions are part of the birth — and they deserve to be seen.

Pregnancy doesn’t just grow a baby — it grows you.
And that growth stirs feelings.
Big ones. Tender ones. Old ones. New ones.
Fear. Joy. Doubt. Power. All of it belongs.

If you’re used to pushing feelings aside, keeping things “together,” or staying in your head — this might feel uncomfortable.
But here’s the truth:
Your emotions aren’t weakness — they’re wisdom.
They’re your body’s language.
Your signposts.
Your intuition speaking in real time.

Emotion is energy asking to move.
It shows you where your boundaries are.
What still needs healing.
What matters most.

I hold space for that.
I encourage you to feel — not because it’s dramatic, but because it’s honest.
Because when you allow those feelings to surface safely,
you get clarity. You gain strength. You create space for your real self to emerge.

And in the birth room?
That clarity and self-trust becomes your compass.
Your intuition leads.
Your voice guides your choices.
You no longer birth from fear — you birth from deep knowing.

So no, I won’t dismiss your emotional waves when you try to express them.
I’ll walk with you through them —
Because your transformation is not just physical.
It’s emotional. Spiritual. Whole.

And you deserve a doula who sees and honours all of you.
