Michelle David – Finalist in the Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards – Care Home Businesswoman of the Year. The Castle House Group are delighted to announce that Ashton Lodge Home Manager, Michelle David, is a finalist in The Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards – The Care Home Businesswoman of the Year category.
The purpose of The Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards is to highlight and celebrate the incredible achievements of our female leaders in all roles and from all corners of the sector, and create a platform to support our rising stars and future leaders.
Michelle will join other finalists following a rigorous judging period at the black tie awards ceremony on November 21st at The London Marriott Grosvenor Square. The whole Castle House team wish Michelle the very best of luck and will be incredibly proud to see her at the awards in London.

We are thrilled to announce that members of the Ashton Lodge team have been nominated as finalists for FIVE awards at The Great British Care Awards under the following categories:
Ashton Lodge Nursing Home finalist in the ‘Care Home Employer Category’
Yasmin Sheikh finalist for the ‘Co-production Award’
Laden Farhaan for the ‘Care Assessor/Care Planner
Jordan Poreddy for the ‘Auxiliary Worker Aware’
Mohammad Fauzel finalist for the Frontline Leaders Award.

This is a huge credit to our home; winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony’s which take place on the 17th of November at the Hilton Metropole Brighton, and the 18th November at the Hilton Bankside. We will keep all our fingers crossed until then. Congratulations to you all, it’s a great team effort, we really are all winners together.

A Right, Royal Ascot! Our chef might give you a few great tips, but best to focus on running the kitchen not the horses! He certainly surpassed himself and made our Ascot lunch one to savour. The team added to the fun all looking in the running with their millinery bringing a very chic look to our celebrations.
