🎄We are now closed for Christmas!🎄

Due to demand and not wanting to let our clients down, we will reopen again on Tuesday 30th December for one day only. We then reopen and resume normal working hours on Saturday 3rd January 2026.

For anyone who has an appointment tomorrow and would use the Northern Spire bridge, please note its closed tomorrow between 9.30am and 3.30pm for driving north. Please use an alternative route and allow enough time to get to your appointment.

🚗 You can't drive north on the Northern Spire tomorrow (Tuesday 16 December) between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
This is because a 15m (50ft) section is being re-surfaced.
It has to be closed for access, and for staff health and safety.
Diversions are via the QA Bridge. 🚗

We at Northern Spire Hearing Services are deeply saddened to hear that Councillor Dorothy Trueman has passed away.

We first met Dorothy when with her husband Harry, who at the time was the current Mayor of Sunderland opened our very first clinic back in January 2022.

Our sincere condolences go out to Harry and his family at this sad time.
