We are incredibly proud of two of our amazing carers, Yvonne Hunter and Rachel Moon, who have been nominated for Carer of the Month. Their dedication exemplifies how the seemingly small acts of care can make a monumental difference, often in ways that go unrecognised.
Yvonne and Rachel consistently went above and beyond to support a service user who was facing significant struggles, particularly with bowel movements. Despite the service user being repeatedly dismissed by GPs and social workers, our carers refused to give up. For more than five weeks, they tirelessly advocated and pushed for the necessary help, eventually leading to a successful result for the service user.
This achievement highlights the core values of our service, commitment and compassion. Thank you both and well done!
