There really is nothing better in life than having a good routine, feeling settled and being happy ❤️

A nice long walk after work, cooking, eating tea at the table and listening to music before watching tele in bed with an early alarm for the gym.

It really is the little things in life that make a difference never take them for granted.

Feeling so content in life and grateful that everything is working out exactly as it should. Life isn’t always easy, but it is what you make of it. So whatever hand it deals you, take it on the chin and find a way forward.

Greedy me ate my lunch before I could remember to take a picture 😂

2000 calories again today, only 1800 pictured I did have chocolate after my tea with a cuppa

Not as much protein today, only 80g in total but still way more than I was eating.

Another session in the gym at 6am this morning and I’m packed for tomorrow too. Was only meant to do 3 days this week but while I feel like doing it I’m cashing in.

Next week we move back to fat loss, so the exercise will help balance any extra calories im eating this week.

Meal Prep by Giants Meals

This week I am focusing on getting some good nutrition in, keeping my calories quite high just to get some goodness in me and a high level of protein.

Next week I will work on reducing the calories down so I can get back into fat loss. It’s all a process and the more I make small changes the bigger results I’ll get and the longer it’ll last as it’s a lifestyle change.

Lots of factors over the last 4 months as to why I lost the love, it never went completely but it definitely wasn’t a priority like it used to be but now I’m settled and in a good routine I’m back on focusing on me ❤️

150g of protein today, 2200 calories consumed but as I say I wasn’t counting and it was all good nutrition. A session in the gym at 6am and now I’m home, bag packed for the morning, tea made and in bed ready to watch a film.

This week is all about getting the focus back so I’ve cut all plans this week and made a commitment to cook all meals that aren’t prepped (except a meal out on Friday night) including the weekend.

Tonight I tried something completely outside my comfort zone and I don’t even exaggerate when I say that it’s actually completely changed the way I see myself, how I feel about myself and my outlook on life.

I did a Breathwork Ceremony tonight, the safest of spaces with some amazing people who shared their thoughts, feelings and experiences and the outer body experience from the breathwork was like nothing I’ve ever felt before.

My hands and feet were rigid, tingling and my whole body was shaking but the energy I let out my body, the emotion I got rid of, the stress and worries of anything and everything just completely disappeared.

I couldn’t recommend it enough and I definitely won’t be missing a session in the future ❤️

First gym session in 2 weeks, it was absolutely RAMMED and I hated it 😂 felt under pressure to be quick, couldn’t use the equipment I wanted and had to manoeuvre my walking lunges through about 30 people 😂

But it’s done, I’m home, showered and in my dressing gown. Definitely thinking of doing some morning sessions and see how that fairs.

BUT 11,000 steps today, fitted two walks in on my break and lunch and it feels good to start implementing a new routine.

Starting to feel a bit more like myself and get some confidence back.

Breakfast prepped for the morning, having a week off prep but making a return to the gym, even if it’s only twice it’s building a new routine. Last 2 weeks have been mental starting a new job and lots on personally so looking forward to putting the work in on myself this week and get my mindset in the best state I can ❤️

Sunday Night Dipping 🥴

Dreaded this all day, first cold dip of 2023, actually relieved this one wasn’t in the sea though tbh 😂

Can’t even explain the feeling it gives you though, deep breathing, slowing yourself down, controlling the urge to shake or shiver and feel your mind chatter dissolve into absolutely nothing.

Didn’t time it properly, roughly a few minutes but aiming to do this every day and build up my time under the water.

For anyone who wants to better their mental health, heart health and general well-being I couldn’t recommend this enough. Roll on summer for sea dips, paddle boarding and beach meditation ❤️🥰

💕💕6.5lb off since Monday💕💕

Absolutely buzzing with that. A lot of it will be water as my diet has changed so my body won’t be holding as much water so I won’t expect anywhere near this sort of loss each week usually 1-2lb is good for me!

It’s a slow process but focusing on each day as it comes and making a plan makes the weeks a lot easier.

I wanted a stone off in January, it’s a tough ask and if I can get somewhere near I’ll be happy there’s still 2 weeks left.

Looking forward to eating burgers tonight 😂😂I’ll have a late breakfast and no lunch, but maybe a snack before getting food tonight ❤️

Bagel for breakfast ❤️

Mad day so I didn’t get a chance for lunch or snacks so I was starving come tea time and we had no prep tonight…

So we ended up with a chicken kebab (with salad) a cuppa with 2 white chocolate Oreo’s and a penguin. Greedy me didn’t take a picture and for some reason mine came with 3 pittas 😂😂 I only ate one I promise.

It’s been a very, very good day in all aspects. All food was within calories over the week, I’m full up and happy as owt.

Weigh day in the morning and a meal out tomorrow night, prep all ordered for next week and a plan in place.

Just under 1400 calories today (including a cheeky penguin biscuit 🤤❤️) no gym session as I was absolutely wiped out this morning needed the rest.

The main thing for me at the minute is staying on track with my nutrition, I’ve done 3 sessions this week but will aim for another before the end of the week.

Feeling really good though, the first week nearly done and looking forward to a meal out on Saturday… or maybe a takeaway if the weather is like this ha ❤️

Tonight I done a meditation and sound bath session courtesy of Raising Hope Meditations ❤️

Feel very rested now, the perfect way to wind yourself down and it was a great setting, peaceful and comfortable for anyone who has never tried it before. I went with no expectations and really enjoyed myself so I will definitely go back.

No better way to end the day and it’s important to make time for your mind and allow yourself a minute to remove all thoughts and worries to get yourself re-centered ❤️
