SOFT ? HARD ? BUILDER?

Summer brings an increase need for nail treatments however it seems to also present us with an issue we feel needs to be highlighted.
Gel varnish has advanced over recent years and its longevity, application and removal techniques differ.
We find a number of clients book gel removals are unaware what type of product they have on and what problems it can present us.
We use the JESSICA & Mii gel system. This is known as a ‘SOFT or SOAK OFF GEL POLISH’. They are a little kinder to the nail and have a more natural look. They are designed to be fully removed after approximately 2 weeks before re-application.
HARD GEL & BUILDER GELS are designed to offer more strength and durability to the nail. They are generally refreshed with an infill rather than a full removal (every time). Due to their durability they last a lot longer on the nail.
Unfortunately we do not have the equipment or products to ensure your nails are finished to our usual standard if we are presented with a hard or builder gel. Therefore we may not be able to offer a removal if you arrive with this system applied.
We are hopeful having highlighted this you will ask more questions and find out what product type you are having applied. This will then avoid any disappointment if we are unable to assist in it’s removal.
