Happy Friday 👋🙋‍♀️
We had a lovely morning, 1 to 1 sessions on our interaction table for some sensory time and making music. Read and reminisce with our ladies was very enjoyable and gave us plenty to chat about. Musi memories are so mezz as meaningful and evoke some of the most important moments of our lives. We finish with ladies and gents cognitive games club. Healthy competition, team work made for a very fun Friday!

Hello everyone and happy Thursday 👋
This afternoon we got ready for one of our favourite socials here at Springfield… high tea with Carole. The cinema had movies showing and everyone enjoyed snacks and relaxed.
In high tea the best china came out, just how our ladies and gentlemen like it. We had their favourite selection of cakes and scones, and enjoyed each others company. A lovely time drinking tea and eating cake while listening to some classic tunes. Happy days!! With Carole 🩷🧁🍰💜🌸

Good evening from us all at Springfield 👋.
What a wonderful morning we’ve had, music and the parachute of life followed by the October-band for the all important keep fit and active time! We had refreshments to keep hydrated and had a great group conversation ball session. It’s a fantastic way of sharing life stories and build on friendships!
Then onto our 1 to 1 interaction sessions. We sat outdoors, enjoyed some fresh air and vitamin D as we did some cognitive therapies. 1940s and 50s nostalgia and famous faces conversation cards kept us very entertained. Then indoors for a special pamper appointment. A fun packed morning …..with Carole🙋‍♀️🌈☕️👍

Hello everyone 🙋‍♀️ 👋
It’s been well-being Wednesday here at Springfield with a busy day of therapies indoors and outdoors.
We started with warm up exercises this morning, music therapy and sensory fitness was so much fun! Sensory mood lighting and equipment set the calming mood for some gentle seated fitness with a difference. Alerting all the senses, channels energy and enhances mood… lots of great benefits to this therapy. Then onto making our own music, instruments and sang alongs to our favourite tunes 🎶🪇. We have some very talented ladies and gents!
1 to 1 reminiscing sessions, pamper time for manicures and massage and social room visits. We also had morning and afternoon movies in our cinema for our residents who wanted to relax.
This afternoon we headed out onto the decking for gardening club, beautiful pots and hanging baskets done ready to put up on the decking and entrance. Great gardening techniques everyone…. Springfield is now in bloom. More to follow!!

Good evening to all our Springfield friends 🙋‍♀️
Another hot one today so it’s safety first at Springfield and lots of hydration and a slower pace in our socials. Art therapy kept us all engaged and relaxed while doing some colour therapy posters to display in our rooms. Great conversation, music and refreshments…. A perfect way to spend your day! The salon was very busy, offering hair cuts and blow waves with Carole.
Movies and icecreams all round in the cinema and tv lounge and onto 1 to 1 pet therapy with Teddy and room visits to have a catch up.

Happy Bank Holiday everyone 👋
It’s been a hot one today so it’s been hydration, hydration, hydration at Springfield. The focus here is always on maintaining good nutrition and hydration but in high temperatures we put extra emphasis on the importance of hydration for our residents and staff.
Our residents enjoyed a game of prize bingo this morning in our cool music room, with a lovely breeze flowing through and lots fresh juices on offer it was eyes down ready for our bingo caller to start! The concentration was amazing as we all aaited for a single line and a full house winner. Prizes collected, a cuppa in hand and some favourite tunes to enjoy until lunch was ready.
1 to 1 cognitive games and sensory time spent on our interaction table, followed by social room visits for a catch up and share family news.
This afternoon as the temperature went up⬆️ we relaxed, put our feet up and watched movies. A welcomed visit from our refreshments trolley for ice creams, ice lollies, delicious smoothies and snacks. Keeping everyone hydrated and happy. With Carole & Kathryn ☀️✅🥤
