Stephen Young!

Stephen has been here at Westhome for many years, and this is well overdue!

Stephen always puts 100% into everything he does – he means so much to all of his service users and goes way above and beyond for them. To provide such care to this level and to mean so much to everyone just shows what kind of amazing person he is.

We are so very thankful to have him working here and we appreciate all of his hard work and commitment.

He is absolutely 1 in a million.

Nicola Hughes!

Nicola is an absolute credit to Westhome Care Services, the way she cares and supports her service users is amazing – and even the after care if they go somewhere else.

We have had several nominations for her for carer of the month – and a recent quote from a compliment we received said ‘My carer is my angel in a uniform’

💚Meet the Team💚

This is our Care Coordinator Sandra Blyth.

Sandra has worked for Westhome Care Services for nearly a year – with previously working in care for around 6 years in Care homes and homecare – providing all aspects of care to service users.

Here at Westhome Care Services, Sandra was employed as a care worker and was promoted to Care Coordinator as her knowledge, skills and confidence shone through in her care work.
As a Care Coordinator, she supports staff daily, providing guidance and support where needed. She also works hard on rotas – ensuring the best staff are supporting our service users. She liaises with social services and healthcare professionals to ensure our service users are receiving the best possible care and support. Sandra is often still out and about, providing the best possible care to our service users.
Sandra works very hard and is a well-loved member of the team.

Outside of work Sandra loves her family and is often surrounded by her wonderful children. She also loves a bit of singing, and we can often hear her singing along to the radio at the office.
