🚨 Exciting News for Lighthouse Therapy Group Ltd! 🚨

We have a major announcement to share—our CEO, Mark Walsh, will be stepping down at the end of April as Lighthouse Therapy Group Ltd has officially been acquired by NHS England Mental Health.

This incredible milestone is a testament to the dedication and hard work of Mark and his fantastic team over the years. Their passion and commitment have built something truly special, and now feels like the right time for the NHS to take the reins and implement their approach.

Mark also wants to take this moment to express his heartfelt gratitude to his amazing team for their unwavering dedication and, most importantly, to our incredible clients who have trusted us and allowed us to support them over the years. It’s been an absolute privilege to be part of your journeys.

We know this news will come as a shock to many, but rest assured, the transition will be as smooth as possible…

🎉 Celebrating 5 Years in Our Home! 🎉

We’re absolutely thrilled to be marking five years at our current premises! Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come - what started as a single sole trader has now grown into a VAT-registered Ltd company with a Community Interest Company dedicated to making an even bigger impact.

💡 In that time, we have:
✅ Mentored over 20 placement counsellors, many of whom have gone on to do incredible things - including launching their own social enterprises to support even more people.
✅ Provided paid work for over 10 fellow professionals, including recruiting two associate counsellors who have built the equivalent of full-time careers.
✅ Supported 10 local charities and collaborated with local businesses and schools to strengthen their teams.
✅ Navigated Brexit, a global pandemic, a cost-of-living crisis, and a government change, and come out stronger.
✅ Most importantly, we’ve had the privilege of supporting thousands of members of our community, and we’ve loved every single second of it.

To say I’m feeling humble and proud is the understatement of the decade. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey, we truly couldn’t have done it without you. And trust us, we have some amazing things coming very, very soon!

We’re Teaming Up with The Three Tumours for the Great North Run!

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that we’ve partnered with The Three Tumours, a fantastic local charity that’s incredibly close to our hearts. Together, we’ll be taking on this year’s Great North Run on September 7th, and we’ve been given 5 charity places for the event!

One spot is already taken by our very own CEO, who has bravely signed up for his first-ever half marathon—a challenge that promises to be an unforgettable adventure (with plenty of laughs along the way!).
