Day 1 of swapping coffee for Rainbow dust.
I'm not doing it because I'm giving up coffee or caffeine, ohh nooo!
I actually find I need caffeine to help me get some degree of focus with just everyday tasks.
I am in the process of an ADD and ASD diagnosis, something which would explain a hell of a lot of struggle I've experienced my entire life.
Its not something I've shared directly with a lot of people (despite creating and performing an entire 10 minute aerial act around) mainly because I've already experienced prejudice.
Trying to get diagnosed as a adult , particularly at the moment, is really difficult.
Waiting lists are long and unless you're on a precipice with your mental health, you're almost cast aside and/or thrown some antidepressants.
My body rejected my SSRI's 🙃 which is apparently quite common if you have ADD.
The treatment options for ADD/ADHD are generally stimulant based- not something I'm overly thrilled at , as I don't take medication for anything.
Iv always tried to find an alternative that suits me but as I get older the symptoms worsen and the desperation increases to just function normally. Its been a year since my initial assessment and could be another 2-3 before i'm offered treatment 🙃😬
Somethings got to give..
I'm pleased I've got a top drawer phsycotherapist otherwise I'd be somewhere else.
I've read some positive testimonials on this blend! which, alongside coffee extract includes a variety of ingredients that help increase your focus whislt promoting brain health and mood enhancement.
What have I got to lose...
Rainbow dust is a adaptogenic, noottropic blend of 3 types of mushrooms, herbs and caffeine...
🔸️Chaga for Immune support
🔸️Cordycepts for energy
and
🔸️Lions mane for memory.
The mixture also boasts
🔹️Rhodiola Rosea, a herb used to increase focus, relieve anxiety.
🔹️Maca root to improve mood
🔹️Vitamin B5 for brain health
🔹️Ashwaghanda for immunity and calm
and finally
🔹️Coffee extract
Its also chocolate flavoured... Which I love , as its like hot chocolate
Going to track and report how this change affects me and more importantly if it does what it says on the tin.
