It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie Souter (nee Banks), aged 89 years. Peacefully 0n May 21st after a short illness.

A devoted wife to the late Oliver Graham and deeply missed by sons Craig and Neil, along with daughters-in-law Karen and Karen. A loved gran to Conor, Megan & Bryn and their partners Maria and Clayton and a cherished great gran to Sophia and Oliver. Treasured sister to Lillian and her late brothers and sisters. A very special friend to many.

Please meet for a Service at Sunderland Crematorium on Wednesday June 25th at 11am. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu if so desired to Marie Curie (a donation box will be available at the Crematorium).

Peacefully in hospital on May 10th, aged 81 years. Peter, loving husband of Ann,dad of Alyson and Gareth and father-in-law of Joanne. Brother of the late Billy and sister-in-law Rene and family, and sister Joan and brother-in-law George and family in Australia.
Will friends please meet for a Service at Sunderland Crematorium on Friday 6th June at 1:30pm

Peter will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

Peacefully on 25th of April 2025 aged 89 years. Margaret (nee Hunt), Beloved Wife of the late Ernie. Dearest Mam of Susan, David and Christine & Mother-in-Law of Joy and Billy. A precious Nanna and Great Nanna.
Will friends please meet for Service at South Shields Crematorium on May 21st at 2:45 pm.

It is with great sadness Jean passed away on April 21st 2025 aged 86.
Dearly loved wife of Les, a devoted mam, gran, mother-in-law and sister.
A celebration of Jean's life will take place in Sunderland crematorium on Thursday 15th of May at 3:30pm.

Peacefully in hospital on 16th April with loving family by her side. Aged 93, June a dearly loved mum of Paul and Mark. A dear mother in law of Beverley and adored Gran of Callum and Sarah. Peacefully, in hospital on 8th April after a short illness, aged 93. Beloved wife of the late Bill, loving mother of Christopher and Caroline, mother-in-law of Alyson and granny of Emma and Robyn.

Funeral Service to be held at Sunderland Crematorium on Tuesday 6th May at 1pm.

Family flowers only. Donations to The Salvation Army and St George’s Church East Boldon.

Peacefully in St Marks nursing home on the 13th March 2025. With his loving Nieces Angie and Tishy by his side. John aged 79 years. A loving son, brother and partner of the late Margaret. A loving uncle, great uncle, great great uncle and a friend to many. Will family and friends please meet for a service on Wednesday 30th April at St Hilda's RC Church southwick at 11am. Followed by a committal at Sunderland Crematorium at 12:30pm. Donations to Marie Curie cancer charity. A donation box will be available on the day. All welcome to return to The Avenue, Roker. Passed away peacefully and within 4 weeks of each other, on 18th March, aged 93 years, Robert (Rob) and on 15th April, aged 90 years Patricia (Pat). Cherished parents of Paul, David, Alison and Amanda, Mother & Father in law to Gill, Judith, Alan and Steve; adored grandparents of Mark, Emma, Laura, Rebecca, Sarah, Jessica, Philip, Louise, Megan, Charlotte, Ellie and Oliver, and great grandparents of Freddie and Alfie. Will friends please meet for service at St Benet’s RC Church, Monkwearmouth on Friday 2nd May 2025 at 10.00am and briefly thereafter at Sunderland Crematorium. Please wear bright colours. Family flowers only please donations in lieu if so desired to the resident’s funds of Princess House and Bryony Park Nursing Home, collection box will be available at the church and crematorium.
