Wheres the third place?

The place to boost your mood.

Are you working more from home? Go back pre pandemic. You left work maybe met up with a friend, a casual conversation or smile from a stranger. People around you.

You dropped into your weekly class.

But now....

Post pandemic your social routine has changed. Sitting at home, not making time for day light, socialising is on a zoom or teams call.

Your not taking regular breaks as the next task jumps in, must get that done.

Its affecting the mood, you feel in a rut.

Where is your third place. Now for me, i like my own space. Away from people but lets not forget we are human and its in our DNA to connect.

If your pain is affecting the back of your hips, your glutes or your buttocks, this is no longer a hip problem 🔴and instead, it is a lower back problem 🟢

For this type of problem, improving the flexibility in the hip as well as the surrounding glutes and hamstrings is needed.

It’s also important to start improving the strength of your core and lower body, so that your hips are supported.

Hip problem? Without proper stretching you will notice your range of motion will gradually worsen.

Osteoarthritis is common in hips. Wear & tear most common too.

Why? Because the fluid is not bathing the joint causing you to get more and more stiff.😕

Walking is not enough. It's good but won't give you the extension to stretch the joint.

Please dont run ❌️I've seen to many runners still running with clear hip issues.

Remember...

When your body receives the signals of light:

Your sleep may become easier, deeper, and more relaxing..

You dont need intense exercise. A short walk, maybe a stretch or two or just time outdoors during the day can support a better sleep.

Your body loves it, feels it.
Nature will reinforce it.

Simple.

It's not about being perfect but Yoga is the secret.

At 20 you want to try
At 30 your curious
At 40 maybe you want to explore
At 50 you want balance
At 60 you want to feel good in your body

There is no such thing as being perfect in Yoga even life for that matter.

Because doing little is alot.

Your not bad at yoga because you can't do all the poses.

Your not breathing wrong, you'll find your flow of breath with movement.

Your certainly not selfish for taking 1 hour for yourself.

Yoga is the secret to your improved wellbeing.
