Boost Learning and Improvement Community Join our learning and improvement community, and together we'll be the best at getting better…

In the health and care system in the North East and North Cumbria, we want to be the best at getting better – with continuous learning and improvement at the heart of everything we do, and in the way in which we work. Through the sharing of learning, ideas, and good practice, and by trying new things together, we can find solutions to the challenges we face, and support each other to make a differ

ence to the health of people living in our region. Building on past successes like the North East Transformation System and CLIC (Cumbria Learning and Improvement Collaborative), the Boost learning and improvement community brings together people with a passion for improvement, innovation and change in health and care. Boost ultimately serves as a hub for innovation, idea-sharing, networking, and supporting improvement efforts.

Mindfulness Based Living – access the 8-week course 🌟

Mindfulness is an innate capacity of the mind to be aware of the present moment in a non-judgemental way. It promotes a way of being that helps us to take better care of ourselves and lead healthier lives. It also enables us to access inner resources for coping effectively with stress, difficulty and illness.

The Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC) is on offer to health and care staff working/volunteering in the North East and North Cumbria, to explore its effectiveness as a self-care strategy.
