A North East devolution deal has been agreed which will see a multi-billion pound investment into the region and significant powers transferred to the North East from central government.💸

A public consultation is now underway to give residents a chance to understand how the proposed devolution deal could be implemented.✅

The deal offers a potential £4.2bn of investment into the region for areas such as regeneration, housing and transport. It is also expected to create 24,000 extra jobs and deliver 70,000 courses per year to give people the skills to get good jobs.

The NHS in Tees Valley is seeking the views and experiences of people who have accessed the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service within Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland.
Patients are invited to complete a short anonymous survey:
https://necs.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/msk-services-patient-engagement
Paper copies are also available.
This survey will close on 17th March.
A summary of the responses will be included in a report to recommend any future changes to the MSK service.

We’ll help you right away and, if needed, a healthcare professional will call you👩‍⚕️

If you require EMERGENCY CARE, you should call 999, or go to your nearest A&E.
You should only go to A&E if you or someone else has a LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCY, such as:

• loss of consciousness
• a sudden confused state
• fits that are not stopping
• chest pain
• breathing difficulties
• severe bleeding that cannot be stopped
• severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis)
• severe burns or scalds
• stroke
• major trauma such as a road traffic accident
• feelings of self-harm or su***de

If in doubt, contact NHS 111 online www.nhs.uk for advice in the first instance. They will be able to assess what level of care you need, including emergency care.
