Smoking and Mental Health Week will run from 2–6 June 2025, shining a light on the high rates of smoking among people with mental health conditions and encouraging collaboration across the health and care sector to support people to quit.

This new awareness week has been developed by London To***co Alliance and Stop Smoking London in partnership with local organisations across London.

It’s designed to help more people understand the link between smoking and mental health, highlight the support available and drive positive change.

🚰💙 A urinary tract infection (UTI) can cause discomfort, pain, and irritation—but help is closer than you think! Under the Pharmacy First scheme, your local pharmacist can offer expert advice, assess your symptoms, and provide treatment without needing a GP appointment.

🔹 Common UTI symptoms:
✅ A burning sensation when urinating
✅ Needing to p*e more often and urgently
✅ Cloudy, strong-smelling, or dark urine
✅ Pain in your lower tummy or back

💡 What to do if you think you have a UTI?
🔹 Visit your nearest pharmacy—no need for a GP appointment!
🔹 Drink plenty of water to help flush out bacteria.
🔹 Avoid caffeine and alcohol, which can irritate the bladder.
🔹 Seek medical help if symptoms persist or worsen.
