🕯 As Autumn Deepens — The Call of Samhain 🍂
As Mother Nature continues her graceful descent into autumn, she invites us to slow down and turn inward.
With the falling leaves and lengthening nights comes the next turning of the Wheel of the Year — Samhain (pronounced sow-ein), the ancient Celtic New Year.
Samhain marks both an ending and a beginning — the closing of summer’s outward energy and the opening of the darker, more introspective half of the year.
Just as the trees release their leaves, we too are invited to let go, to rest, and to reflect on what no longer serves us.
It’s a time to pause in the stillness, to look back with gratitude, and to dream forward — planting the quiet seeds of what wishes to grow in the fertile darkness of winter.
🔮 Healing the Witch Wound
This Samhain, our ceremony will gently guide us into exploring and healing the Witch Wound — the inherited fear of our own intuition, wisdom, and power.
For generations, those who lived in harmony with nature — the healers, midwives, truth-tellers, and mystics — were silenced or persecuted.
The trauma of those times left an imprint not only on individuals but on entire communities and cultures.
It taught many of us, especially women and sensitive souls, to stay small, to hide our magic, or to distrust our inner knowing.
The Witch Wound lives in subtle ways — as fear of being seen, of speaking up, of standing in our power, or of trusting our body and intuition.
Healing it is not about revisiting the past, but about remembering who we truly are beneath centuries of conditioning.
Through stillness, movement, ritual, and reflection, we begin to reclaim what was once lost: our voice, our connection to nature, and our birthright to live as wise, free, and whole beings.
