You may even find that you are avoiding these foods (whether consciously or unconsciously), especially if you have suffered with these symptoms for years.
If you are suffering with this kind of abdominal pain, especially if you’re feeling sick after meals, Dr Peravali is a trained expert and can diagnose gallstones in one simple consultation.

Having gallstones is common, but you must be aware of important things to look out for that may need urgent medical attention.

Severe abdominal pain which does not respond to paracetamol, fever, shakes/ shivers and ‘going yellow’ are all important and may be signs of complications that need urgent medical attention.

If you suffer with upper abdominal pain that is worse after eating, gallstones may be the cause. Dr Peravali would be happy to discuss any investigations with you: https://midlandscolorectal.co.uk/gallstones/

Hernias are common, and unless they are causing significant pain, many NHS hospitals do not fund surgery.👨‍⚕️

It is important to get hernias assessed as they can get strangulated or obstructed. This is when the contents of the hernia become hard and painful because the blood supply to the contents is compromised.😖

If you have a hernia and need surgery not offered on the NHS, Dr Peravali often sees patients within a week.
