The home offers a variety of daily programmes and activities to entertain residents, and residents can also enjoy access to the Royal Sutton Coldfield Club bowling green. At Bishops Manor, the dedicated team are ready to help to create an individual care plan that’s tailored to each resident. This luxury care home is set in a quiet residential area close to the heart of Sutton Coldfield and convenient for Birmingham, the wider West Midlands, and South Staffordshire.

💜 Community Connections at Bishop’s Manor 💜 💐

Today we were touched to receive the most beautiful bouquets of flowers from our friends at the University of the Third Age (U3A) Sutton Coldfield. 💐

Presented by Board Member Ann, alongside members one of their wonderful groups and the ever charming Zelda the dog 🐾 this thoughtful gesture was their way of showing appreciation for the partnership we’ve built together. 🙏🏼🥳✨

Over the past twelve months, Bishop’s Manor has been proud to host U3A groups within our home, and in doing so we’ve seen something really special blossom 🌸 These community ties bring vibrancy, connection and joy and are enriching the lives of our residents 🤩

We’re incredibly grateful for the trust, friendship and recognition shown by the U3A, and we look forward to many more shared moments ahead. ✨

🌴☀️ Bishop’s Fest 2025 🌴☀️

What a way to round off the summer here at Bishop’s Manor! Even the rain couldn’t dampen our spirits, the outfits, the music, laughter and togetherness lit up the home brighter than any sunshine could. 🌴 🌞 ✨

A special shout out to the incredible Ozzy, who had the whole crowd singing, and dancing; our residents absolutely adore him, and it’s easy to see why his energy, fun and warmth filled the room with joy. 🎶💃✨

We’re still hoping the sun makes a few more appearances before autumn sets in, but no matter the weather, it’s the moments we share that make our days shine. 🌞💛 ✨

✨ A special moment we just had to share ✨

Our lovely resident Diane had the joy of attending her daughter’s wedding this weekend, looking absolutely radiant in her elegant outfit. 💐 ✨

She was supported on the day by our wonderful senior carer, Maddie, who made sure everything went smoothly so Diane could be right there to share in the celebrations. Moments like these remind us what life is all about; love, family and making memories together. 💛 ✨

At Bishop’s Manor we’re honoured to be part of these milestone occasions, celebrating alongside our residents and their families. ♥️✨

Most of you already know our four legged superstar, Lily 🐶 🐾 ✨

She’s our much loved pet ambassador and can usually be found in and around the bistro lapping up cuddles (and treats👀🙄) 🍪 😂

But today, we want to shine the spotlight on Lily’s lovely owner, Pat. When Pat moved into Bishops Manor, Lily came too and together they’ve brought even more warmth and joy into our community. 🏠 🐶 ✨

Meet Diane Dance; the woman who knows exactly how to celebrate and how to enjoy a little mischief 💃 🕺 🪩 ✨

When Diane shared her 75th birthday wish, it wasn’t for cake or flowers. True to her fun loving, cheeky spirit, she asked for “Magic Mike” style dancers, and we thought, why not? 🤔 🤷🏼‍♀️🎂

With help from her wonderful family and our fantastic team, Diane’s dream became a reality. The UK Pleasure Boys arrived at Bishops Manor for a cheeky little performance that had Diane and a select group of fellow residents giggling, cheering and absolutely living their best lives. 🥳🤩✨

Yes, there were blushes. Yes, there was laughter. And yes, it was every bit the bold, joyful celebration Diane imagined, proof that she’s a woman who dances through life on her own terms. 💃 🕺 🪩

Moments like these aren’t just about fun, they’re about connection, confidence and supporting overall wellbeing. Diane, you inspire us all to embrace every chapter, you’ve shown us all that a little cheekiness keeps the spirit young and the heart happy. 💥 🚀

Through gentle stretches, breathwork and a few giggles along the way, Katie’s sessions leave us all feeling uplifted, calmer and more connected mind, body and soul. 🙏🏼 🧘🏻‍♀️ ❤️ ✨

This month, we’re celebrating two incredible superstars who go above and beyond and every single day, both in their own unique ways. 🥳✨

🚀 Allison Fereday. Allison is quiet, kind, and incredibly hardworking. Allison is one of the unsung heroes behind the scenes in our kitchen. She’s stepped up in a big way recently to support both the kitchen team and the wider home, and we see the love and pride she pours into everything she does. Her attention to detail, her gentle nature, and that legendary carrot cake (gone in minutes!) hasn’t gone unnoticed. Allison, you’ve earned every bit of your Customer Service Excellence Award for July; we appreciate you more than words can say. 🥕 🎂 💛 ✨

🚀 Matthew Miller. The nominations came flooding in for you this month and every single one was full of praise. From “nothing is ever too much trouble” to “a credit to the first floor,” and one that really stood out “he has such a lovely way of talking with the residents” your kindness, approachability and calm, caring presence shine through in all you do. Another fabulous Wednesday morning here at Bishops Manor! Today we were serenaded by the fabulous Fran Dwayne, who never fails to get the dance floor moving with all the best songs from the swinging 60’s and the disco fever 70’s and more. 💃 🕺 🪩

This much loved event is open to the wider community, and it was a real treat to welcome some familiar faces back through our doors today. 🥳✨

🎙️ ✨Yesterday we were transported back in time by the sensational Bluebird Belles, who filled the home with their pitch perfect harmonies and vintage charm. 🎙️ ✨

Residents, families and team members were all up on their feet dancing, smiling and singing along. 💃 🕺 🪩 ✨

As always, the ladies brought glamour, grace and an incredible energy to the room, and their attention to detail never goes unnoticed. If you haven’t had the absolute pleasure of seeing them yet, don’t worry they’ll be back with us again very soon 🙏🏼 🥳✨

✨ A Century of Joan ✨

Yesterday we had the absolute honour of celebrating our lovely Joan’s 100th Birthday with a beautiful tea party surrounded by her nearest and dearest. ♥️✨

Joan insists it’s at least 10 cups of sugary tea a day that’s kept the doctor away! ☕️ 🫖 🤩✨

Receiving a telegram from the King, brought the biggest smile to her face and made the occasion all the more special for our Queenie 👑 ✉️ ♥️✨

Joan, you are an absolute delight and a real treasure here at Bishops Manor. We’re so privileged to have shared this incredible milestone with you. 🎂 🥂 ✨
