📚✨ We recently enjoyed a lovely afternoon in our cozy library here at Sutton Rose Care Home! Residents gathered to read aloud from some of their favourite books, sharing stories, laughter, and memories. 💬💖

It was a heartwarming time filled with imagination, connection, and the joy of storytelling. 📖🕰️ Nothing beats the sound of voices coming together over a good book.

🐾💙 We had a lovely visit from Rob and his four-legged friend Toby here at Sutton Rose! 🐶😊

Toby brought so many smiles and tail wags — the residents absolutely adored him! 🥰🐕 Rob and Toby’s visit truly brightened our day and filled the home with warmth and joy. 🌟💫

🎶✨ We recently had a wonderful visit from Sutton Voices here at Sutton Rose! 🎤🎵

They treated us to some old favourites that had everyone smiling, clapping, and singing along! 💃🕺🎶 The energy was contagious, and it truly brightened up our day! 😊🌟

🌸 Out and About with Sutton Rose! 🌸

This week, we had the pleasure of taking some of our lovely residents out to the Streetly Singing Café, a wonderful community group for those living with dementia. 💜

We were warmly welcomed with hot drinks, delicious cake, and plenty of biscuits – and most importantly, lots of smiles and friendly faces. ☕🍰🎶

It was a joyful morning filled with music, laughter, and connection. A big thank you to everyone at the Streetly Singing Café for making us feel so welcome. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to return!

🎻 An Afternoon of Classical Bliss at Sutton Rose 🎶

At Sutton Rose this week, we enjoyed the most wonderful afternoon filled with the sounds of beautiful classical music. 🎼✨

The elegant melodies created a calm and soothing atmosphere, with many of our residents relaxing, smiling, and enjoying every note. It was a peaceful moment that brought everyone together in shared appreciation.

Moments like these remind us how powerful music can be in bringing joy, calm, and connection. 💜

🎨 A Wonderful Art Session at Sutton Rose! 🖌️👩‍🎨

We had a fantastic time during our recent art session with the lovely Katherine 🧑‍🎨💐 Our residents got creative and painted some truly beautiful canvasses. 🖼️✨ It was a joyful afternoon filled with colour 🎨, laughter 😂, and lots of smiles 😊.

🌟 A VERY SPECIAL VISITOR! 🌟

We were pleased to welcome a true rock legend today at Sutton Rose Care Home! 🎸

Fresh from Black Sabbath’s very last concert at Aston Villa on Saturday, the incredible Geezer Butler stopped by to visit his brother — and brought along his lovely dog, Cocoa, too! 🐾

It was a warm and memorable visit, and we’re grateful he took the time to come in and say hello.

This week, Judy had a wonderful meeting with Carly from Boldmere St Michael’s Football Club ⚽️💬

Judy was amazed to hear about the incredible number of teams the club supports — from young children’s squads to senior players enjoying walking football. It’s fantastic to see such strong support for both girls and boys in the community! 🙌

Carly was equally impressed by our beautiful home and the amazing facilities we have here at Sutton Rose, including the ever-popular Boldmere Bistro ☕️✨

The two shared plenty of exciting ideas on how we can work together in the future — watch this space for some fantastic collaborations to come! 💡🤝
