Help support local young people.

The Gap (Midlands) is a local charity set up in 2008 and run a drop-in open for all 12-18 year olds after school or college Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. We also provide street youth work in Sutton Coldfield and one-to-one mentoring, workshops and assemblies in local schools and colleges.

There are many ways to help support The Gap and the work we do. Signing up with Easyfundraising is just one way to support us so when you shop online with your favourite retailers, they’ll donate to us. It's free and your shopping won't cost you any extra - the retailers you shop with will donate, not you!

🏫 BACK TO SCHOOL WEEK 🏫

As everyone heads back to school this week, we hope you'll have a great start to the new academic year! Whether it's a new class, a new school, new chapter or a new routine, all the change can be overwhelming but exciting. Remember to enjoy the little moments and take opportunities to rest and refresh where you can.

From this week, our opening hours are back to normal with The Venue open from 3:30-5:30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Why not drop in and let us know how you're first week's going! The kettle will be on and the games will be out!

THIS WEEK AT THE GAP

As everyone gets used to getting back into routine again, we are also getting back to normal!

From today, The Venue will again be open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, every week from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. If you are aged between 12 and 18 you are welcome to drop in any time on these afternoons, for games, activities, art, crafts, and more. We also have our recording studio available to use in this time as well as everyone getting a free drink and the occasional snack too!

Why not pop up Trinity Hill (opposite McDonalds) and find us in the top car park? Whether you've got 5 minutes or 2 hours, we've got something for you to do!

🖌️ PAINTING and ART SESSION 🖌️
Our final workshop of the summer is here and this week we'll be getting out our paints, drawing supplies, and all things arts and crafts, so why not come along, meet new people, spend some time with our amazing team of volunteers and get creative with us!

Then, at 4pm, we'll start getting ready to head to the park for our last summer session of Gap In The Park! We'll pack the games, badminton, colouring books and blankets to head for a chill out at town gate! All are welcome to join us and play!
