Quinney Hall

Quinney Hall is the local village hall in Canwell, Sutton Coldfield. The Hall is available for hire Quinney Hall is available for hire. It is 3m high.

The hall can accommodate 100 in the main hall and also has a meeting room (Board Room style) for about 10 people. The main hall features a stage with lighting. There are kitchen facilities. Tables and chairs are provided. (Sizes 180 x 75 cm, and 90 by 75cm)

The Hall dimensions are 8m wide, 10.2m long with a stage that is 5.74m wide and 1.85m in depth. Just some of the things people have hired the hall for:
Parties - Childrens, 40th, 50th, 60th Birthdays. Ruby Wedding. Weddings
Conferences
Charity Fund Raisers
Band Rehearsals / Theatre Groups

Canwell's Coronation Celebrations 2nd June 1953 held at the Quinney hall and the races on the school field, all listed in the programme. If I remember correctly Peggy Bowers was our Queen in the Grand Parade.

The Canwell school children that lived in Staffordshire had a new testament and the children that lived over the border in Warwickshire had a souvenir spoon and we all had our Coronation mugs.
