✨ Why some people seem to “age faster”… ✨
There’s a quiet process called inflammageing, a slow, low-level inflammation that can build up as we get older. Unlike the helpful burst you get when you fight a cold or heal a cut, this simmering background activity can chip away at strength, energy and resilience over time.
The good news? It’s not destiny. Everyday choices can calm the “slow burn”:
💪 Move most days (especially some strength work you can sustain)
🥗 Eat more whole foods and fibre, include omega-3s
😴 Prioritise sleep and simple stress-calming routines
🤝 Stay socially connected
Bianca, our chiropractic assistant and a master’s student in regenerative medicine, wrote a new blog explaining inflammageing and practical steps to stay strong, mobile and independent as you age.
💡 Small, steady steps really do add up. If stiffness or aches are holding you back, our chiropractors can help you move better and feel more confident staying active.
