Animals are such good reminders to show us humans how to live in the present.

These pups are practicing patience, holding steady even with treats right at their paws.

With our own mental health, patience is a huge strength. It’s not passive, it’s intentional. It’s taking a breath when anxiety rises, staying grounded when everything tempts us to rush.

Whether you’re waiting for clarity, healing, or simply a better day you’re doing better than you think.

Give yourself credit, give yourself time & maybe give yourself a little treat too 🐶

Fearne Cotton is doing a great job helping change the narrative around therapy, always love to listen to her podcast for this reason.

Therapy isn’t a last resort—it’s a power move.
It’s not about weakness, it’s about strength.
Not about being broken, but about breaking through.

In a world that moves fast and demands more, choosing to pause, reflect, and invest in yourself is one of the most courageous and beneficial things you can do.

I’m here to walk with you on your journey—whether you’re healing, growing, or simply ready for more clarity and confidence in your life.

Let’s break the stigma and rise together.
Reach out today to book your first session or a free consultation.

Fearne Cotton has opened up about her mental health struggles and revealed that she attends therapy sessions every week as she 'falls into self-loathing' and 'berates herself'.

🌘𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿

As the days get shorter and nights grow longer, it’s common to feel a shift in mood and energy. Here are some tips to keep your mental health in check as we transition into the darker months:

✨ Soak Up Natural Light: Try to get outside during daylight hours, even if it’s just for a short walk. Sunlight helps regulate mood, sleep, and energy.

🕯️ Create a Cozy Space: Embrace the season by creating a warm, comfortable environment at home. Soft lighting, candles, blankets, and warm drinks can make a big difference.

💬 Stay Connected: Darker nights can feel isolating, so reach out to friends or family. A quick phone call or video chat can lift spirits.

💪 Stay Active: Physical activity is a natural mood booster. Even a short walk or gentle stretching at home can release feel-good hormones.

🌿 Prioritise Rest: Listen to your body and give yourself permission to rest more. Our natural rhythms shift with the seasons, and it’s okay to slow down.

Remember, taking small steps each day can make a big difference. Embrace the change and know that the spring will soon be with us 🌱

If you need some extra support or guidance during this season please feel free to contact us for a consultation/ friendly chat 😊

What is EMDR?! 🧠

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, is therapeutic intervention that is almost like helping your brain “reboot” from tough or traumatic memories.

We all have a natural healing system that our brain can access just like our physical body can naturally heal cuts and bruises. Sometimes, when we go through intense experiences, this mental healing system gets “stuck” and memories can feel distressing and upsetting even years later. These memories can impact the way we function, think, behave and feel (physically & emotionally).

Why Is EMDR So Cool?

🔵 Fast Results: EMDR often works faster than traditional talk therapy, with some people feeling relief in just a few sessions.
🔵 Non-Invasive: No need to go into every detail of your memory if you don’t want to—just enough to let your brain start healing.
🔵 Scientifically Backed: There’s a lot of research and evidence showing how well EMDR works for people with a range of emotional struggles.
🔵 Transformative: EMDR is life changing and can help you achieve the life you really want to lead.

So think of EMDR as a mental reprogramming tool. It helps turn old wounds into neutral memories, letting you live more freely in the present instead of being weighed down by the past. And the best part? The process feels natural and taps into your mind’s own healing abilities!
