Top tips for healthy eating and hydration:
• Include a variety of fruits, vegetables, and whole foods 🍎🥦
• Drink plenty of water throughout the day 💧
• Choose healthy snacks like nuts, yoghurt, or fresh fruit
• Keep a water bottle handy, especially on busy days

🌙 World Sleep Day – Friday 13 March 🌙

Sleep plays an important role in keeping us healthy. Good quality sleep helps support our immune system, mood, concentration and overall wellbeing.

To help improve your sleep, you could try:
• Going to bed and waking up at the same time each day
• Limiting screen time before bed
• Avoiding caffeine late in the day
• Keeping your bedroom dark, quiet and comfortable

Occasional sleep problems are common, but if you are regularly struggling to sleep or feel tired all the time, there may be support available.

You can find more information and advice about sleep at the World Sleep Day website:

World Sleep Day (WSD) is an annual celebration of sleep & call to action on important sleep issues organized by World Sleep Day Committee of World Sleep Society

đź’Š Did you know your local pharmacy can help with many common health problems?

You don’t always need to see a GP for minor illnesses. Your community pharmacist is a trained healthcare professional and can offer advice, treatment, and support — often without an appointment.

âś… Pharmacies can help with:
• Coughs, colds, sore throats and earache
• Rashes, insect bites and minor skin infections
• Urinary tract infections (women, age limits apply)
• Shingles, sinusitis and impetigo
• Advice on medicines and side effects

đź’ˇ You may also be able to get:
• Free blood pressure checks
• Emergency contraception
• Help to stop smoking
• Support with long-term conditions

This is part of the NHS Pharmacy First service — helping you get care quickly and locally, while keeping GP appointments free for those who need them most.

📍 If you’re unsure, pop into your local pharmacy and ask — they’re here to help.
