From today, anyone aged 50 years old (as of 31.3.23) is eligible for a free NHS flu vaccine, regardless of medical or vulnerability status. Please come see us at your earliest convenience to get protected from flu. No appointment necessary. We are open 8am-6.30pm.

We will also be open until 9.30pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week (17th,18th,19th October) to make the service more accessible to everyone, especially to folks who can’t attend during normal opening times as they are at work etc…

We have also been providing numerous off-site flu clinics for staff in schools, care homes and local businesses. If you would like to know more about this service please get in touch.

Flu clinic update

We will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week (27th-29th) until 8pm for anyone needing their annual flu vaccine. No appointment necessary.

From October 15th, ANYONE aged 50 or over (as of 31st March 2023) will be entitled to a free NHS flu vaccine. We will be Putting on some weekend and evening sessions after this date to allow maximum uptake. More details to follow.

We will be open until 9.30pm today, tomorrow and overmorrow (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) for flu vaccinations. It is a walk-in service; no appointment necessary.

We will also be open this Saturday 10am-2pm.

Customers are welcome to pop in for their flu vaccine during normal opening hours too (mon-fri 8am-6.30pm).

We are currently open providing NHS and Private flu vaccinations. We close at 2pm. If you have not had your vaccine, and have some spare time, come see us. No appointment necessary.

Further flu clinics will be provided 6.30pm-9.30pm Tuesday - Thursday this week.

Just to remind you all that we will be closed tomorrow, and reopen at 8am Tuesday.

Flu vaccines have arrived!!!!!!

It is a no appointment necessary process and vaccines will be provided throughout our opening times (mon-fri 8am-6.30pm) and we will be opening late on selected evenings and weekends (see below).

If you are eligible for a free NHS flu vaccine (aged 65 years and over as of 31.3.23, or 18+ and in an at-risk group) please come see us sooner rather than later.

On October 15th all people aged 50 and over as of 31.3.23 will be eligible regardless of health.

Private flu vaccinations are available at a cost of £15.

King Charles has announced that Monday 19th September 2022 will be regarded as a Bank Holiday. This day is for our late Queen’s funeral. In line with this, we will be closed as a sign of respect and to allow our staff time to reflect and celebrate the life of Queen Elizabeth II.

We will be sending all deliveries due on Monday tomorrow. Normal service will resume 8am on Tuesday 20th September.

On Friday 9th September, we will close at 11am and reopen at 2pm. This is to allow staff members to attend a funeral for one of the team who sadly passed away 2 weeks ago.

Colin Richings was one of our delivery drivers and had been with Gilbody Pharmacy for 2 years. He was a very well liked member of Team Gilbody, an extremely hard-working and caring person, a proud father and devoted husband. He was a rock for the team during our difficult times through covid-19, and for me personally, was always someone I could turn to whenever I needed anything doing. Colin will indeed be sorely missed.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. All other Community Pharmacies in the area will be open as normal in case you have an emergency.

Happy 12 Years to us!!!

The computer software we use, and completely rely on, went down nationally leaving us with the inability to label anything or check the NHS system for most of Friday (It came back online at around 5pm). Staff have been in all weekend trying to get us back uptodate.

It is never our intention to delay providing our customers with a Pharmacy service so please accept our apologies if you was affected by this.
