We should probably introduce ourselves properly. We are Becca, Shell and Lynette. I (Becca) met Shell when I moved to Sutton in 2021 and we became friends very quickly, as our children were in the same class, and found out we had a lot in common. Lynette is Shell's sister in-law and they have worked together for many years. We all have worked in various different care settings including community care, care homes, complex care and the NHS. We all had the same feeling that although people's basic needs were being met in the care industry their social needs were not. So myself and Shell sat down and brainstormed how we could help. This was the birth of Home helpers. We started taking on social, cleaning and shopping calls alongside our part time jobs then we left our jobs to focus on Home helpers. Lynette started off helping us out with sickness and holidays and now has her own clients. We are so incredibly proud of our achievements and proud of our clients. 💜
