Sadly this happened to me. Even more heartbreaking that it was the day after my birthday and I was at Center Parcs for a relaxing weekend away 😢
I screamed and cried so much, my partner told me not to look whilst he scooped everything up in the shower and the only place he could think of to flush down the toilet 😢 so so sad. We just didn’t have time to even think what to do 😢 💔

I’m so sorry to everyone who’s gone through this. I never believed I’d have my rainbow baby in the end, but 2 years later he arrived 💙

Nothing prepares you for the moment you have to flush the toilet during a miscarriage.💔💔

So let’s talk about 2016…

It was the year I got married, the year my son turned 1, the year I met who became my best friend. Wow when I look back that’s quite a busy year! I was 37. I was trying to find my feet as a new mum, trying to find new mum friends, battling sleepless nights (serious sleep deprivation 😴), I started planning my wedding when my son was 5 months old, started working out like crazy when he was 6 months old. I wasn’t happy unless I was planning & arranging something 🥴

How time changes, only a few years later I lost the most supportive friend who was my ‘yes girl’ to domestic abuse, her abuser got life in prison 💔 we went to so many baby groups, classes and events that we felt like we’d tried everything out there, so we said we should start our own. After she passed I had to keep our promise and Little Glow Ashfield and surrounding areas was born. A few years after that I lost my dad and my marriage broke down, plus I moved house! Challenging times! 😞

2025 was not a good year for me, dark days, tough times.

2026 is starting a little like 2016. I have plans, lots of plans. I’m saying yes to most things and trying to be braver & more confident!
My son will also be starting secondary school so there will be lots of changes ahead! 🥹 It’s crazy to think when I started Little Glow sensory, he’d only just started primary school and this year he’s off to secondary school 😭

When I look back at these scan photos, I was so anxious after having 2 miscarriages that all I was thinking about was getting my son here safely.

I didn’t even think about the fact I didn’t know anyone else who was expecting a baby, the loneliness didn’t hit me until he was here.

I felt quite isolated, if there had been a pregnant mums group in my area maybe I could have made the connections before he’d arrived.

🤰🏻Mum 2 Be is a 2 hour event for you to meet like minded expectant mums in your area

✨We’ll be joined by special guest speakers guiding you with their expertise at what they do.

👶🏻 There’ll be samples from well known brands in the industry such as Kokoso Baby & WaterWipes, plus discounts and offers from local businesses and baby groups (for when you’ve had your baby).
