Yet another FANTASTIC day out with the church’s together group. Busy morning of pig racing, carpet bowls and crafting followed by bangers and mash for lunch.
Then it was on the bus and heading to Farmer Browns Ice Cream for dessert. It was such a treat being able to take our residents somewhere new. It’s amazing having access to the Hope House Church - Mablethorpe bus. Really is a game changer!
Joe, Eileen and Peter have all said what a wonderful day they’ve had! Thank you everyone who made today possible 🩷

🔥 A gentle reminder from Sandilands 🌾
Our team found a disposable BBQ wrapper in one of the bins this week – likely left behind over the weekend.
While we’re glad it was disposed of properly, we’d like to kindly remind all visitors that BBQs and open fires are not permitted anywhere on the reserve.
With the recent dry weather, even a small spark can lead to devastating consequences for wildlife, habitats, and the wider landscape.
Please help us protect this special place by:
🚫 Leaving BBQs and fire pits at home
🗑️ Taking all litter home or using bins responsibly
💚 Enjoying the reserve safely and respectfully

Thank you to Sutton on Sea & Trusthorpe Carnival for this evenings entertainment at the Bacchus.
It’s been a wonderful night and you’ve been excellent hosts. Great turnout too! I hope you gained some well earned funds for the carnival.
Can’t wait until next weekend, let’s just hope the rain stays away!
