A fabulous fun morning with J D Craft and Sew Fabrics for our monthly ‘JD craft club’.
Today’s craft was plaster of Paris where together residents made coasters, jewellery trays, heart trinket trays, miniature statues and even a gonk!
They individually mixed and poured the material into moulds and allowed to set, later decorating with bright and colourful paints.
Everyone was very chuffed with their creations.
Well done all, they all turned out brilliantly 🤗

🫶🏻💚🙏🏼 PLEA FOR HELP 🙏🏼💚🫶🏻
We have a couple of upcoming fundraisers, one being next Friday for the Alzheimer’s Society and our residents group. We are always on the hunt for raffle and tombola prizes.
Anything from a gift you received that you won’t use to a bottle of pop. Any item, any size and for any age.

✨ Popular items are chocolate bars/boxes, pop, alcohol, games, toys, stationery, wool bundles, body products, fashion jewellery, books, kitchen items, craft sets, home fragrance, gift cards, literally anything ✨

In the summer and Christmas periods we fundraise on our games stall which is for both children and adults, so really any prize for any age we will use. The smaller prizes tend to be for our tombola and game stall prizes and the larger, perhaps a little more expensive ones are used for raffles. (We will also be hosting online raffles as soon as we receive the license from the council)

Alongside this we also have our Amazon wishlist for items for our residents and visitors, let me know if I should make a separate one for raffle and tombola prizes???

If you would like to make a prize or monetary donation, no matter how small (I really can’t emphasise this enough, EVERY LITTLE HELPS🙏🏼) please do drop them off, anytime that suits you, we are here 24/7, if you are unable to drop them off please reach out and we can arrange for them to be collected 💚
