Over 1,000 patients and those close to them benefit from our exceptional free Hospice care which costs us £6.5 million to provide every year.

We had a wonderful time at our Wellbeing Centre recently, hosting a heartfelt thank-you party for our incredible volunteers and Compassion Neighbours. 💜

The afternoon was a true delight, filled with tea and scones, live music, plenty of laughter, and even a bit of dancing to round it all off! 💃

A huge thank you to our volunteers, you truly make an incredible difference.

At St Raphael's, we know that love doesn't end when a life does. We offer gentle, creative ways to hold on to precious memories that can bring comfort during some of the hardest days.

One of the meaningful keepsakes we offer are small wooden hearts imprinted with the fingerprint of a loved one - a simple but powerful way to keep a tangible part of the them close.

For children, we use delicate diamante crystals - tiny, sparkling gems they hold while talking about their loved one. These become a symbol of memory and connection, helping young minds process grief in a gentle, safe way. 💜

They've truly brightened our spaces and brought so much joy to our patients, visitors, and staff. We’re so grateful for your support! 💜

Nicole and her amazing family recently took the plunge with a skydive in support of St Raphael’s - raising a phenomenal £4,815 to help us continue our vital care. 💜

This year marks 25 years of nursing for Marilou, and her second at St Raphael's. Her evening shift is all about compassionate care, checking in with patients and making sure every comfort is met. 💜

“At 75, I still find volunteering so fulfilling - it gives me purpose, keeps me active, and I’ve made wonderful friends along the way.” - Illa, Donation Centre Volunteer.

After moving to Sutton, Illa joined our St Raphael’s family over three years ago and now helps sort donations behind the scenes at our Donation Centre.

From school jumble sales to fundraising hikes in Chile, Illa’s story shows how small acts of kindness can have a big impact 💜
