The month of September celebrates “Old Traditional Skills”. We are therefore celebrating Angela and Beryl who have both been Seamstresses for most of their lives.

Angela worked at Queen Mary’s Children’s Hospital in Carshalton Beeches in charge of the Needleroom.

Beryl worked on Oxford St before moving to a private Salon where she did her seamstress apprenticeship producing bespoke gowns for private clients.

Both ladies were thrilled to visit “Thread & Needle” a tailoring and alterations specialist.

“The Blues Brothers” gave us a wild afternoon with everyone getting into the swing with this rhythm & blues sensation.
