❤ Thank you to SACCO and the Hong Kongers Sutton Celebration Team for letting us have space in both of their venues on Saturday 4th October.

It was great to meet so many local residents and talk to them about our holistic services as well as employment, find volunteering and new skills opportunities, a project our Social Prescribing Service are now working on (Trailblazer - South London Partnership.) - https://southlondonpartnership.co.uk/trailblazer

Migraine Awareness Week 2025: It’s more than “just a headache.”

Migraines affect 1 in 7 people in the UK and can disrupt every part of life—from work to relationships to mental health.

Common symptoms include:
🧠 Throbbing pain, often on one side of the head
🌪️ Aura: flashing lights, zigzag lines, or numbness
😵 Dizziness and difficulty speaking
😴 Extreme fatigue, even before the headache starts
🍫 Cravings, mood changes, and neck stiffness

If you experience migraines more than once a week, or if your symptoms persist or worsen after three days, it's important to speak to healthcare professionals for further evaluation and support. Learn more about migraines on the NHS website: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/migraine

This week, Sutton Primary Care Network joins the national campaign to support parents and carers with the powerful message: Babies cry, you can cope.

Crying is normal, but it can be tough. ICON helps families understand infant crying and offers safe ways to cope during those challenging moments.

💡 Remember:
I – Infant crying is normal
C – Comforting methods can help
O – It’s OK to walk away if the baby is safe
N – Never, ever shake a baby
