Today marks the start of Baby Loss Awareness Week. A time to reflect, honour, and remember every baby gone too soon, and to hold in our hearts the families whose lives have been forever changed.

This week brings together those affected by baby loss, creating space for open conversation, remembrance, and community support. It’s also a time to raise awareness about the impact of pregnancy and baby loss, and to work together for better care and understanding.

You are not alone. 💗

If you or someone you know has been affected by baby loss, there are organisations offering compassionate support:
🤍 Tommy’s – information, research, and support for anyone experiencing pregnancy loss or complications (www.tommys.org)
🤍 Baby Loss Awareness UK – leading this week of reflection, remembrance, and advocacy (www.babyloss-awareness.org)
🤍 The Worst Girl Gang Ever – a community for those navigating miscarriage, stillbirth and baby loss (www.theworstgirlgangever.co.uk)
🤍 MAMA Academy – supporting parents and professionals to make pregnancies safer (www.mamaacademy.org.uk)

We’ll also be joining in the Wave of Light on 15th October — lighting candles at 7pm to remember all babies who are no longer with us. ✨

Let’s keep talking, remembering, and supporting one another. 💫

🌸 Celebrating August’s Babies 🌸

August was filled with tiny new arrivals, and we’re so grateful to have shared in those first special moments with your families. 💖👶✨

Alongside the joy, we also hold space for the families who experienced loss in August. One precious baby was born sleeping, and another arrived much earlier than planned, staying for only a few treasured hours before gaining their wings. 💜 Their love and light will always be remembered.

Sending strength, comfort, and gentle hugs to every family, and wishing you all a September filled with love and new beginnings. 🌈🤍

Happy Black Breastfeeding Week!

To celebrate black breastfeeding awareness week we are going to share some stories from mothers about their experiences!

"Hi, my name is Chenge and for me, this week is about celebration, and breaking down the barriers that have made breastfeeding harder for so many Black mothers like myself.

As an extended breastfeeder my journey hasn't just been about feeding but comfort and a bond that has grown stronger every single day as my children’s needs change.

It hasn’t always been easy. With my firstborn, we faced tongue tie something I had no knowledge of and wasn’t prepared for. I naively thought that my baby would just latch and it would be that simple. Unfortunately with this challenge brought pain, confusion, and moments where I really wanted to give up which I very nearly did. After a difficult labour, I honestly felt like breastfeeding was a hurdle I couldn’t overcome.

Thankfully with the amazing support of my local infant feeding team, we got the tongue tie resolved and began a new chapter, one that has been filled with its ups and downs but a lot of joy.

Here’s to celebrating all of our journeys and our babies🖤✨"

Happy Father’s Day!

Today, some of you will become dads for the very first time. What an unforgettable moment!
Others are old hands at this, with little ones (or not-so-little ones) already in your arms.
And for some, today may feel a bit tough for all sorts of reasons.

Wherever you are on your journey, we see you, we celebrate you, and we’re cheering you on.

Wishing a very Happy Father’s Day to all who mark the day 💙
