What another fantastic 5-a-side tournament was played out on QPR’s pitch yesterday for the Mental Health World Cup 2023 where 40 Teams, 320 players from the construction industry competed for this converted trophy. Sale Group were proud to again be apart of this event by being one of the main sponsors to help contribute to the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) Charity who continue to support those who are struggling with life.

This year Sale Group entered our team as San Morino 🇸🇲 and they unfortunately played like them and managed yet again to achieve an early exit🙄 However we had the pleasure of being part of this wonderful tournament which was brilliantly managed by the amazing Giancarlo Gaglione and his wonderful Team. The bar keeps rising for this event which has been running for 11 years however, the GG Team never fail to deliver and this year they have managed to raise well over £100,000 for this worthy cause. So well done and a big thank you to everyone involved, particularly to the exceptional Giancarlo Gaglione 👏 and to our neighbours Elite Electrical for winning the Tournament👍

We are pleased to announce that Sale Service and Maintenance Ltd are working to achieve the ISO 9001 certification in Quality Management Systems which will enhance the already obtained IS0 45001 & 14001 accreditations.

It has been a long journey for our Veronika Green; however all of her hard work, late nights and commitment is now really starting to pay off for this exceptional person.
Veronika started her journey at Sale in June 2008 as receptionist and progressed to become an administrator in the Estimating Department, advancing to Estimator and eventually earning a promotion to Estimating Manager in 2018.

Aside from her career at Sale, Veronika also attended the City of Westminster College to achieve her HNC Level 4 in 2018 and went on to further advance her engineering education by progressing onto the London South Bank University. Veronika finally achieved her Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours at the LSBU on the 22nd February 2022 which in itself is a fantastic achievement, especially through a global pandemic and balancing the rigours of running one of our most important departments.

This is a clear demonstration that if you have the commitment and drive you can achieve your goals no matter where you start from, so well-done Veronika.

We are all very proud of you.

History will say that this was one of most remarkable reigns in the 1000 year history of the Monarchy on these Islands. A Queen that will be fondly remembered in the Centuries to come but sadly this time has now passed. It will be hard to imagine a Britain without Her Majesty RIP.

Only 2 weeks until the return of our Charity Golf Day at the prestigious St George's Hill Golf Club. We look forward to seeing all those attending and are anticipating a successful turnout, exceeding previous numbers and overtaking last years fundraising total of £18,830 to aid the Children's Trust Charity in Tadworth.

Sale launched our rebrand in April and as part of this strategy we are now starting to roll out the remodelling of our fleet of new vans which have been designed and wrapped by Signworks UK Ltd

Eventually, all vans will be rebranded, as soon as we start receiving deliveries in the New Year.

On April 21st we were proud to take part in the Structuretone Football tournament to raise money for Ukraine.

Our fantastic G-Research Sale team managed to take home the cup winning against Arena 1-0. Our Sale Maslow’s team also got through to the semi-final, who, unfortunately were knocked out by the G-Research Sale Team!

Well done to everyone who was involved!

The MHWC is the UK’s leading charity 5-a-side football tournament for the fight to prevent male su***de, since 2012 they have helped to raise awareness to one of the biggest illnesses within the construction industry and as a company, we are proud to continue to sponsor them.
