Last night we met for the first time the incredible 11 year old Scarlett.

In June Scarlett took on a challenge to raise funds for our charity , she walked a minimum of 15,000 steps a day every day through out the whole of June and every weekend Saturday and sunday swam 65 lengths per day ! At just 11 years old it’s a testament to her mental and physical strength to challenge yourself to something so difficult to help others when she’s only a child herself .

She presented the charity last night with a cheque or £632.50 .

We couldn’t be more appreciative and proud of you Scarlett what an amazing young girl , we look forward to welcoming you to our family party on the pitch next year as a special guest ❤️

Everyone meet our latest 2 fundraisers Noel and Andy or as they like be known as (Nollymac) and (Birdy)

we are a couple of middle aged grandads who feel passionate about cycling and wanted to give something back to the community and are cycling from Woodville Swadlincote to Skegness on Saturday 23rd August in one day to raise money for local charity Miles For Smiles.

This time in exactly 1 months time we will be on the ferry ⛴️ to the hook of Holland before then travelling to Amsterdam to set up pitch for the night in our ⛺️.
Before an early morning call to start our 10th year anniversary fundraising challenge.

The biggest one by far !!! 1000 miles being walked and cycled through 4 different countries Holland 🇳🇱 - Belgium 🇧🇪 - France 🇫🇷 - England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

The team will keep you up to date as usual with all the live updates through out the 2 weeks, we hope you guys can support us as like you always do on the last ever challenge .

THIS FRIDAY NIGHT WE’RE BACK IN ACTION ⚽️

Mfs Fc return back to action for the first time in 2 months to play against players of Stapenhill and Gresley Rovers (some would say we underdogs 😂)

Both sides come together to raise precious funds for David Paxton's treatment costs. this is a true show of solidarity as football and the local community comes together.

it would be brilliant to see as many people there as possible to support the event and help us raise much needed funds to support David’s treatment costs . But also we know you all want to see an upset on the pitch and we like to deliver 😉

Some of you may recognise our number 9 he’s a local heavy weight professional Olympic medalist boxer , I can’t give any more clues away 🥊 😂

There’s also entertainment on in the bar with a musician performing 🎶

Today we are at Ashby Ivanhoe FC for a charity fun day in loving memory of Ruby who sadly passed away last October .

Today the family are holding this charity fun day in Ruby’s memory and are raising money for our charity plus Birmingham children’s hospital.

The sun is most certainly shining for you Ruby ☀️

Last month we sent one of our beautiful families to the lovely Bainland lodge retreats . Below is some pictures and what the family said on the break .

“Thank you for such an amazing week at Bainland lodges! It really is so beautiful there and so much for us all to do as a family there! 😀

My mum and dad have had such a lovely stress free week relaxing at the lodge and the hot tub, going to the local cafes and even got to go to watch some planes fly over us from the RAF base which Paul and Lucia loved! Paul has absolutely loved having so much family time and being out of the same four walls at home !

With the support we receive from the local community we can continue to create special moments and breaks for the families we look after and seeing all these beautiful smiles means everything to us all Miles for smiles . ❤️

On Saturday 2nd August Glen and Jane Richardson are holding their 3rd music festival for charity and this year we so lucky to be the chosen charity ❤️

Sadly in October last year we lost the beautiful Ruby aged just 2 years old .

On Sunday 13th July the family are holding a charity fun day where they will be raising money for 2 charities ourselves and Birmingham Children's Hospital and Charity who cared so much for Ruby in her short life .

Football match kicks off at 1pm
