What a beautiful couple of days of sunshine we have had ๐ŸŒž
This time of year lifts the spirits, as Spring is in full swing and the flowers begin to grow and the world becomes visually more colourful.
The song "Here Comes The Sun" by the Beatles always comes to mind around this time of year ๐ŸŽธ๐ŸŽน

We regularly connect songs to different places, people and times, supporting our memories, emotions, and connections ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘ˆ

A very important moment is coming...World Music Therapy Week starts tomorrow and runs until next Wednesday 15 April!

Weโ€™ll be sharing content that shines a spotlight on Music Therapy and Music Therapists, including educational posts to build awareness, insights from HCPC-registered Music Therapists, and stories from Service Users. We also look forward to celebrating the winners of the World Federation of Music Therapy photo competition.

Download the toolkit provided by World Federation to find out more about this year's theme, Connecting Borders, and check out the ready-to-use resources so it's even easier to get involved.

Today Iโ€™m in Tamworth Castle grounds and I love this time of year when the leaves are changing colour and itโ€™s not too cold to sit outside for a while listening to all of the sounds around me

๐Ÿ“– Some very interesting reading today!
As part of my continued professional development (CPD), reading about how music therapy is used in different settings and groups is always so informative!

I havenโ€™t finished this yet, but Iโ€™m sure it wonโ€™t be long ๐Ÿ‘

A throwback to one of our favourite images from last year's World Federation for Music Therapy photo competition ๐Ÿ˜ Marina Raidt-Altunashvili of Georgia was awarded third place with this wonderful image of a young, joyful Music Therapy participant playing drums. What a beautiful moment!
