Our Story
Working with clients in a variety of settings since 2010 I have gained a unique insight into the challenges and rewards therapy can provide. Focusing on the uniqueness of each client, the therapies I provide will always be in the best interests for each client and include safe, non-invasive techniques which may be adapted for self-management use. My practice provides a non-judgemental space for understanding and creativity where clients can explore difficulties, life’s challenges and emotions. My goal is to encourage clients to find the solutions they need that will be beneficial for their life and future development whilst promoting healing and growth. A brief overview of the therapeutic techniques available include: - Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling As an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor I combine several theoretical approaches to offer the type of counselling that is most specific for each client. - Clinical Hypnotherapy Hypnosis creates a heightened state of awareness enabling beneficial suggestions to be considered by the subconscious mind. Clients find hypnotherapy a relaxing and calm state, where the physical body is very relaxed and the psyche is creatively active. - Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) EFT connects a client to their emotions and thoughts, creating a much higher sense of self awareness. This technique may be adapted for all ages and issues. The benefits of EFT are that it can gently yet very effectively release negative feelings from the mind and body enabling a client to reduce the emotional reaction to an issue or past event. This technique is easy to learn, allowing clients to feel calmer and be able focus more clearly on their goal/s. It is great for improving attention and enabling a calmer, more focused approach to life.
