***HELP PLEASE***
Yesterday, 7th October, at around 12.55pm, one of our riders was taking an urgent sample from Derby to Sheffield, when, just before junction 29 of the M1, the Chesterfield turn off, a large length of timber fell from a flat back lorry. He was unable to avoid it and as a result both front and rear cast alloy wheels were damaged beyond repair. Despite a rapid deflation of the front tyre, he managed to stay upright and get off the live lane.
This could have resulted in the loss of life and thankfully we only have a substantial repair bill, thanks to an inconsiderate lorry driver, sadly unknown, as yet!
So our plea! Did you witness this? Do you have any dash cam footage to identify the vehicle?
Please help us track down this errant driver!
