World meditation day 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️

So ive heard sooooo many times things like this ....
I cant meditate...
My brain is too busy ,
I don't switch off
I cant get into it because my brain still thinks

ALL of the above are reasons but none are true 😉

The truth is anyone and everyone CAN meditate 🧘‍♂️

Some of the key things is not to "try" to hard
Be gentle on yourself
Make sure you have time
Give yourself a quiet time ...just 5 minutes to begin with undisturbed
Don't expect colours, visions, etc
Allow yourself to just be
Acknowledge who you are
Let the thoughts come and go without judgement
Soften into them
Sit with the silence of your own mind ✨️

This is a practice that is exactly that
A practice that will become easier the more you do it and the benefits are amazing

HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE 🤍🖤

Winter Solstice: Sitting With the Dark Without Needing It to Fix Us

The winter solstice is not a promise.

It is not an activation.

It is not a turning point that magically makes life easier.

It is simply the longest night.

And that matters.

In a world that is constantly asking us to move forward, improve, manifest, heal, transcend, and become something more… the solstice asks for something radically different.

It asks us to stay.

To sit with what is quiet.

To sit with what feels heavy, unresolved, unfinished.

To sit with what hasn’t bloomed yet — without demanding that it do so.

Nature does not rush the return of the light.

There is no announcement.

No declaration.

No celebration of arrival.

There is only stillness.

The earth rests.

Roots deepen in the dark.

Life conserves itself rather than proving itself.

And we are not separate from this rhythm.

Winter solstice is not here to rescue us from our pain or confusion.

It is here to remind us that rest is not failure, and not knowing is not wrong.

There are seasons in our lives where clarity does not come from effort.

Where healing does not come from insight.

Where growth does not come from doing.

It comes from allowing the body to soften.

From letting the nervous system exhale.

From no longer forcing meaning onto what is still unfolding.

The solstice doesn’t ask us to shine.

It asks us to listen.

To listen to what the dark has been holding for us — not to fix it, not to release it, but to finally let it be felt.

There is a quiet intelligence in the darkness.

Not dramatic.

Not loud.

Not urgent.

It moves slowly, patiently, without explanation.

And when the light returns — as it always does — it does not arrive because we earned it, aligned enough, or believed hard enough.

It returns because that is the natural order.

Just like your breath returns after an exhale.

Just like the heart keeps beating without being told.

Just like life continues even when you stop trying to manage it.

If this solstice finds you tired, uncertain, tender, or quiet…

Nothing is wrong.

You are not behind.

You are not missing anything.

You are not failing your spiritual path.

You are in winter.

And winter is not something to get through.

It is something to honor.

Tonight, you don’t have to set intentions.

You don’t have to release anything.

You don’t have to claim a new timeline.

You can simply sit with the dark —

and trust that the light knows how to return on its own.

🕯️ Mother’s Night 🕯️

Mother’s Night is the sacred night that falls on the eve of Yule, steeped in deep ancestral memory and feminine power. It is the night we honor our Mothers - ancestral spirits, matriarchs, and divine feminine forces who guard lineage, fate, and home. Those who have watched over us and helped us in our times of need. It is a night of stillness, mystery, and reverence, when the veil feels especially thin, and the old wisdom stirs.

Mother’s Night also marks a turning inward. The darkness has reached its peak, and the world pauses in breathless quiet before the return of the light. This is not a night for outward celebration, but for reflection, remembrance, and honoring what has carried us through the long year.

Candles are lit in silence, offerings are made, and prayers are whispered to those who came before, especially the women whose lives, labor, and love shaped the path beneath our feet.

Mother’s Night holds the womb-space of the year. It is the sacred pause between ending and beginning, where intentions are not yet spoken aloud but are gently formed in the heart. Grief, gratitude, and hope are all welcome here. Nothing needs to be fixed or decided. Simply being present is enough.

As the final night before Yule’s rebirth, Mother’s Night reminds us that light is born from darkness, strength is rooted in lineage, and transformation begins in quiet devotion. It is a night to honor where you come from and to trust what is quietly growing within you.

If you have recently noticed a heavy pulling sensation in your body and an undeniable need to rest, you are participating in a profound global frequency shift.

This deep desire to slip into a state of spiritual hibernation is a physical response to the energetic currents moving through the planet right now.

In the days leading up to the solstice, and the window immediately after, your entire system starts to require more silence and less external stimulation.

The winter solstice marks the point of maximum darkness, a cosmic pause where the earth literally holds its breath while the rest of life prepares for a profound rebirth.

While the external world often demands constant movement and endless productivity, the stars themselves ask for a profound and sacred stillness deep within the soul.

This celestial event truly represents the oldest New Year, a sacred threshold between the breath out and the breath in for all living things on Earth.

The winter solstice was originally known as New Year because it is a calendar born purely of the stars and the earth's natural rhythms. For thousands of years, long before the modern January 1st date was established by the Roman Empire, ancient civilizations unequivocally viewed this particular day as the true reset of the world.

For six months leading up to December, the sun has been gradually growing weaker and the days progressively shorter. On the solstice, the sun appears to "stand still" (derived from the Latin meaning of solstice) before it is metaphorically born again, initiating a new cycle of light.

This dramatic return of the light was the most critical event for our ancestors' survival and spiritual understanding. They didn't perceive it as merely a change in weather patterns; they deeply felt it as the sun triumphantly winning its eternal battle against the encroaching dark.

This powerful cosmic event made the solstice the "birthday of the sun" and the actual beginning of the next vital growth cycle for life on Earth.

This year, the potent alignment with the New Moon makes the skies even darker, pulling the veil of night even tighter around the entire world. This double dose of shadows creates a rare and exceptionally potent void, stripping away all external light to forcefully usher in a total return to the interior self.

When the moon mysteriously vanishes alongside the sun, the Universe offers a complete and profound reset. It is a moment of pure, unfiltered potential where the lack of light truly serves as a blank canvas for your deepest intentions and most cherished dreams.

In the Northern Hemisphere, the solstice signifies the peak of the winter journey into the great unknown depths of self. It is the longest night, a precious time when the sun seems to stand utterly still before beginning its slow, deliberate return to the horizon.

This period is the undeniable height of the dreaming phase, where we are encouraged to listen intently to the subtle whispers of our intuition.

Conversely, those in the Southern Hemisphere experience the Summer Solstice, which is the peak of the light and the longest day of the year. Yet, even in the brilliant midday sun of the south, the solstice energy carries a remarkably similar message of a crucial turning tide and a significant shift in direction.

Both hemispheres reach an extreme point of a cycle that requires a momentary stop to recalibrate our internal compass. One is full of outward expression and vibrant energy while the other is tucked into the deepest, most protective folds of the earth for essential safety.

Together, they balance the rhythmic breath of the planet in a majestic dance of opposites across the equator. While one side rests in the cool shade, the other shines vibrantly in the heat, yet both must profoundly pause at the peak to begin the inevitable journey back toward the unifying center.

The solstice represents the Still Point, a sacred place where the incessant hustle of the ego gently dissolves into the wisdom of the spirit. Ancient wisdom suggests that during these days, time itself stretches and becomes elastic, allowing for deep cellular repair and visionary insight to emerge effortlessly.

This is a vital season of incubation where the invisible, internal work of the soul takes absolute precedence over the visible, external work of the hands.

Just as a seed requires the cold and crushing weight of soil to crack its protective shell and begin new life, your spirit requires deep withdrawal to prepare for a brand new cycle of growth and expansion.

In many ancient traditions, this time symbolically represents the descent into the internal cave where we ultimately meet our highest truth and authentic self. It is the only truly quiet place where you can genuinely hear your soul without the constant interference of external noise and pervasive societal pressure.

Spiritually, this is the time of the 'vacuum' where we consciously release the old and stagnant to make ample room for the new and vibrant. By clearing your schedule and calming your mind, you create the magnetic space necessary for new miracles to enter your life in the coming months with ease.

This is also the absolute best moment to bravely face what you usually avoid, as the comforting darkness provides a symbolic cloak of safety to courageously look at your fears and ultimately transform them into pure, unadulterated power.

You feel tired because your biology and your spirit are intrinsically aligning with the deep, ancient rhythms of the natural world. The earth is dormant, resting deeply, and every single cell in your system instinctively wants to mimic this necessary and profoundly restorative hibernation.

Resistance to this essential rest creates a specific type of exhaustion that simply cannot be cured by mere caffeine or forced willpower alone. You are inadvertently fighting the gravitational pull of the Universe when you try to maintain your normal, frantic pace during this sacred window of time.

When the moon and sun both retreat into the shadows, your internal tides naturally pull you toward the comfort of your bed and the warmth of your hearth. This profound fatigue is a physical manifestation of a spiritual upgrade occurring deep within your nervous system.

Your system intentionally stays offline so it can integrate the heavy lessons and massive growth experienced during the past calendar year. Accepting this profound fatigue is an act of rebellion against a frantic world that perpetually undervalues the immense power of the pause.

When you choose sleep with intention, you choose repair at a deep level that reaches far beyond surface rest and mental relief.
Your system uses this time to reset internal processes, restore balance, and activate wisdom that has been carried through generations.

Energy that was scattered begins to gather and strength that was depleted starts to rebuild. What felt heavy slowly reorganizes itself without force.

This rest prepares you for the months ahead by restoring what constant motion and pressure have worn down. It creates space for clarity, resilience, and forward movement to return in a natural way.

This pause exists for a reason within a larger cycle that repeats again and again. You are aligned with it and participating in renewal exactly as intended.

✨️Thursdays Thoughts✨️

We are not our emotions
Let me explain ...
Our emotions come from an attachment to a thing that has happened
Or something that we may perceive will happen in the future!
Our brains then become attached to that " story" that then adds the emotion
This is a response to the story that can become stored within

But...

You are the person that feels these emotions
The key thing is not to allow them to become you 💛

This is where you can see you are not your emotions
Emotions are something that are created by the mind and stored and attached
And can become a reaction to that particular " story" or event 💛

You are always you
You have never left
You are always there
The strength and core
You are enough ✨️

We have to allow to make room for change ✨️💛

✨️Wednesday Words of Wisdom ✨️

In today's society it embraces the concept of "self healing "
In the truest sense of this it is not about taking credit for health .
It is about willingness to change 🦋
Our ability to receive, to take steps to allow healing to happen . 🦋
This may come in many forms plants , humans support attention to your body , spiritual guidance , and sometimes pharmaceutical support 🙏
The miracle of healing lies in treating the cause , the root , the gut of the illness not merely covering the symptoms 💛✨️

Much love Ann
