Your body isn’t “just relaxing” when you meditate…
something very specific is happening.

Your vagus nerve — one of the most important pathways in your nervous system — is being gently activated.

And that changes everything.

When your vagus nerve switches on, your body moves out of stress mode and into rest, repair, and regulation.

✨ Heart rate slows
✨ Breathing deepens
✨ Muscles begin to soften
✨ Digestion improves
✨ Your mind feels quieter (without forcing it)

This is why meditation isn’t just “sitting still”
— it’s training your nervous system to feel safe again.

Because most people don’t struggle to relax…
their body just doesn’t know how anymore.

And this is the key:
The more you practise,
the stronger that vagal response becomes.
