The revelations ongoing from the Fuller Inquiry shine a long overdue light on an industry/profession allowed to manage its actions through self regulation is not enough. As heartbreaking as this is to hear, we feel as a Local Family run business we not only go beyond what is required but believe we are ready for any formal regulation and eagerly await its arrival. It's just sad that horrific things have to happen for many of us to be finally listened to.......

Horse-drawn Funeral in the scorching heat Monday..... it was hot and the Horses performed way better than me but 30 years in and I still a buzz working with Townies Carriage Masters Tom and his awesome team. Such a dignified send off for a special lady and personal friend, always an honour and privilage to be chosen by families to take care of there loved ones, even more so when they have known you so long and seen you at you worst 🤣

With Permission of the family, we had an amazing Star Wars Themed Coffin recently, and the followed it up with a matching ashes casket, First time we had worked with certainly won't be the last, amazing job.

Simple but dignified Easter window, thankyou Ruth for your efforts, the lovely flower display and the what looks like a very expensive vase i have thus far stopped Jerry and Marty destroying, Happy Easter all, and if you should need us I will be about all Bank Holiday, 24/7 as ever. Even in the office Friday and Monday trying to sort some decorating, any visits appreciated to distract me from the monotony of painting 🤣 xx

Our Hearts go out to the victims of Lagacy Funeral Directors in Hull, and pleased to see charges now being issued against the owner.

Whilst this has been an unimaginable experience for the families involved it has finally forced the goverment to address the lack of regulation in our profession and we are eagerly anticipating the introduction of regulations and basic rules of care.
