It’s been a very busy build up to Christmas at The Old Rectory.

We have been visited by school choirs, church choirs and a wonderful pantomime production of Cinderella…oh yes we did!

Decorations fill the lounge, halls and bedrooms and our tree from the Christmas tree festival is spreading its magic in the front entrance of the house.

It truly is ‘the most wonderful time of the year’.

We wish you all a very merry Christmas, and a safe, happy and healthy new year.

So very proud of the teams who have made this possible.

Hard work, determination and dedication to care has enabled us to achieve this improved rating and we will strive to achieve the next level of rating.

Well done to the new formed management team who were brought in to make these positive changes at the end of 2021, a huge well done to the care and support team, maintenance team, housekeeping and laundry teams and kitchen team. We also give thanks to all families and friends of The Old Rectory and the local community for your ongoing support.

A DORSET care home has improved with a ‘good’ rating from industry regulators following a nearly £1 million investment.

The Old Rectory has undergone yet another mini renovation, updating and modernising more accommodation.

We have bedrooms with en-suite facilities available for respite and permanent accommodation on ground floor and first floor levels.

It was dry outside when I took this picture, not so much now! As the rain pounds down, I am happy to share these pictures of our cosy and warm rooms here at the care home.
